That's a bad S10! I moved to Ohio 3 yrs ago and remember seeing this drive by my house shortly after we moved in. I live right around the corner from you on Gale. Told my girl that was a bad truck before I knew anything about it. Good luck on the new build. I have my own build going on right now with my 84 Firebird. Hopefully it will be out of the barn and on the roads soon.

I lived in Ohio for 35 years in Lagrange and Elyria, and let's just say them 2 towns we didn't get away with much street racing but cops sure chased us alot and we changed color of our cars trucks bikes thinking that would help keep them from knowing who was who but nope if we didn't pull over they would just come to our homes, man I miss those days, stay fast and safe

You best put a ring on that one brother,believe me I was married for 12 yrs and it was nothing but arguments when,it come to racing and working in the shop and kept me from having a good time w my dad and we built cars and drag raced since I was literally 8 yrs old I grew up building chassis and engines and drag racing! I owned 2 roofing companies and put her thru school, so she could do WTF she wanted and she worked for funzies never to pay bills I did all that's shit and she still wound up costing me 270k. To get rid of her and half the cost of buying her out of my house because she never liked me racing and doing what I,wanted and TCB came first but never what I wanted so,yes buddy she s a damn keeper for sure anytime you find one that will help you or just hang w you while you work on your shit and be supportive in any way and is a,cute lil gal too!! I mean I ain't gettin in your personal life but been there done that wrote a book and some songs got the belt buckle and a couple of wallies,just looking for that geammy!! Lol she s a great gal!! Those pistons are nominally 11-1 with 64cc chambers. And 20 thou head gaskets. And 25 tou deckheight. Use premium fuel and limited timing and they are ok. Or better use Avgas and more timing.That piston is result of a very lean mixture,, or read an airleak somewhere probably an intake area. Piston makers these days seem to make pistons with less compression than original so most engines are low copmp gunkers that will run on power kero!!

In the 80's and 90"s my son was into Drag racing pretty Heavy We ran Limitted Street in the NMCA series, then we built a 2000 tube chassis Mustand with Nitrous and latter A turbo.....in Outlaw street...He still can build a big cubic in Small blocks...

What is your compression? I am going turbo also I have a sbc 10.5 compression I hear compression is good as long as you have a meth kit 👍🏻 Is your block an early block ? I notice it had a front oil sender just wondering because not all have them up front mine doesn't but mine is a 400 it sure would be easier running my turbo supply line lol Nice vid 👍🏻
