To the tons of people who are messing up the input run, think of it like this: Either hold or mash A to jump until Kirby gets tired Exhale whenever you feel comfortable, it doesn't matter when here Press and hold B just somewhat close to the ground as you land on the ground, immediately let go of B and swap over to holding A. I've been theorizing this is because the game possibly storing all of the jump inputs you do before landing, and copy abilities attacking as they hit the ground is some sort of catalyst that activates that storage.

my record for how high I've gotten with this is literally smaller than a normal jump

@@corb805 I haven't explored the theory much since then due to being busy, but I think it doesn't because it's a set amount of jumps that leads to falling downward. The actual height of the jump is dependent on your timing relative to your distance from the ground. If you're too close to the ground, you won't go far. If you're too far from the ground, you won't go anywhere. Gotta find that sweetspot.

@@_WiZ420 oh, I didn't think of those "flaps" as jumps. I thought if you were to mash jump faster than it let's you "flap" you may get extra height.

i really hope this never get's patched just because of the fact that it sticks with the tradition of hammer being really broken in some way, also bit of an interesting fact, this glitch can spawn the first phase of chaos elfilis in the second phase if you use this. also it's just flat out insane how many areas have collision like most of it isn't even accessible for the most part, it almost feels like they left this in intentionally

I feel like it was intentionally made. I mean it's weird that on the secret final boss you can spawn another one just by glitching out of bounds. No other boss has this "bug" Not to mention if the game detects you are stuck out of bounds. It just respawns you without taking any damage. Also i feel like the invisible barriers keeping you from getting out of bounds are just tall enough so you can barely make it with a good timed hammer jump. Also in some places like 2-2, the game just forces you into the game's bounds and has a second invisible barrier on the waters.

@@sonicthehedge to add to that, you can't hammer jump to the HAL room in 1-3 as they put an invisible ceiling in the area you would have been able to do that for.

I'm pretty sure that's only because the floor collision is all one, giant single collision, so it makes sense for it to work out of bounds. Lots of games don't bother to remove collisions from outside of the map because it'll be just a waste of time. As for the buildings: they're probably just copy and pasted assets from structures already in the accessible areas.

I'm really surprised that so many of those background elements (trees, buildings, etc.) have collision and can be walked on, despite being unreachable under normal circumstances. Really awesome.

I just wanna say I was playing around with this glitch and on the level fast flowing waterworks if you do the glitch at the start of the level and attempt to go left the games visuals and noises will mess up. I don’t know if it crashes or destroys the save file because immediately closed the software to be safe. I also took a picture for proof I just want to put this out with caution for whoever is wanting to use the glitch

There’s also a special cup for this. If you glitch into the coliseum before actually entering a cup you will be able to enter a bugged meta knight cup with one battle which is easy Waddle Dee even has special dialog for this!

The setup is just verry precise you'll need to try doing it many times before getting the timing down or just being lucky enough

It does work. Keep in mind there are varying heights depending on how you time it. Toy Hammer is by far more consistent.

if you do it right you can glitch into the coliseum entrance and get a bugged version that only has the first boss fight then ends, that's how the wrs are like 6 seconds

I was doing a little superjumping around and I noticed there's an area to the right of the arena behind King Dedede where there's a semi-finished path, and the camera pans to that area. Maybe there will be DLC in that area?

Everything being modeled and having collision in OOB areas feels so out of place, because normally you just fall right through things, but with Forgotten Land, apparently EVERYTHING has collision, which is so weird.

everybody says that you have to use the toy hammer, but I've used the masked hammer and it works fine, the only thing that matters is if the evolution can do a hammer boost from holding B in mid-air.

Yeah... it's completely insane. I don't really know why except for the Kirby hype, because the Kirby Videos in general seem to work really well. It will go back to normal as soon as the game gets older. (according to KZbin even the worst kirby video has 10 times more views than normal, in relation to the time it's online... and this one is 130 times better which completely insane)

I can’t get this to work. I follow the exact steps, and Kirby goes much higher than usual, but he doesn’t get high enough to go over the invisible walls (or get on the bridge in Fiery Forbidden Lands). Does anyone know why?

When Kirby starts going super high,hold the jump button. The longer you hold it, higher Kirby goes.

they spent a lot more time working on making that hud unbreakable I think. During my no dmg run I was hunting for spots to go out of bounds, and I couldn't find a single thing in that town. Doesn't mean it won't happen eventually

You can easily go oob in waddle dee town near the fishing lake, jump behind thesign with the fishing score and you'll go behing the fence
