For the people who grew up with this series, Naruto's interactions with his parents always hit differently. I cry every time. Naruto isn't an anime I'd rewatch in full, but I'm glad it was a major part of my late childhood and teenage years. I still hold the characters and story close to my heart.

I get what you’re saying but I wouldn’t say it’s JUST sad. At high enough levels all emotions tend to feel similar. I know niggas who cry when they’re sad, happy, angry, or broke. It’s cathartic.

Naruto has so much heart I remember in part 1 naruto when Choji was facing against jirobo when he was calling him fatso and the music was playing of the time choji was all alone until shikamaru was by his side I felt that.
