If rockstar has tighter security, it would make more sense for them to inform their team with incorrect information, possibly to pinpoint where leaked information is coming from. course people high up in the company that has permission to lightly communicate with the public would be given the proper information, which would also pinpoint if the information is coming from them. At the same time they could also use the false information to fall back on if they have delays
