@@sgts75 Arizona sunshine, Boneworks,Beatsaber are some to get you started I'd recommend Arizona sunshine if your not used to VR it's not the most polished VR game but tons of fun you mainly just walk around and shoot zombies so its beginner friendly.

Starting to think gamers cant handle it even if they got it in their favorite "shooter" game, FPS would probably drop but you now get to see what normal people pay to un-see. Me personally as long as the blood splatter is unique and detailed I am usually happy. Everyone loves bloody mess, you could do some really sick stuff these days. Who ever is in charge of artistic lead in that department is very important to the community of that game. You kind of have to actually know what mut!lated h^man c0rpses look like in order to accurately represent them in a Videogame or Movie no way really around that unless you own an already made asset that magically works with your game project. Modders I cant say are well known for their gore fetishes but surely there are some out there with a real passion. Its easy to do stuff like this compared to gore, Dead Matter Alpha super detailed guns and sound practically perfect. But they dont even have their own zombie models and gibs yet in place so your just shooting at pretty dumb plain zombies that horde you pretty well. Even Dead Matter inventory shows great potential drawing much inspiration from Escape from Tarkov's notarious inventory management. Gore is a always a back burner project for small studios often being cut from the final game cause time runs out. We are lucky we have Fallout New Vegas and that simple things like the Bloody Mess perk made it into all the final games under that studio and Obsidian. Expecting a Mod for experimental gaming software to produce even an 08 AAA gore representation is setting your expectation a bit high even with all the modern advancements. Not a lot of actual devs are skilled in this field, Just how it is. You also kind of have to finish your game before gore is even functionally possible with resources drain and all. This was mostly an asset flip experience utilizing most likely "FREE" VR assets put together by a dedicated modder for probably chump change or free. Nothing wrong with that. Hope you temper those expectations in the future we all know how horribly this industry succeeds in p!ssing us all off OR disappointing to no end.
