Kaiju 8 is such a good manga and I'm really glad you found it as it's one of the very few kaiju centred media/franchises that isn't something that has the rights to godzilla. Basically it's a interesting change of pace in the kaiju scene and I highly recommend this one to a lot of my friends so it's cool to see it here too.

@@salagayikes4016 if you’re the type of person who likes internal conflicts and overcoming obstacles then yes. I love the story of the underdog getting his feet in the world. It’s a huge fight manga, a fight almost every other chapter but right now it’s not too deep. The story is expansive but it’s more a internal fights that if you’re tryna beat your own limitations then yes. But if you like less internal conflicts and more open world stories like Dr. Stone or Neon Genesis, then no. If you don’t relate with one of the first five major characters . The story is not for you.

@@salagayikes4016 I disagree with the other guy. The story was better when it was new. It then just turned to a regular shonen manga. The internal conflict would’ve been interesting if not for the fact that the members seem to get past their trauma by sheer willpower. Basically, it’s super tropey and predictable. Edit: the power ups don’t feel earned.

I recommend Sakamoto Days and Mashle(it is coming with an anime soon so maybe hold off and see how you like that) both stories are hilarious with overpowered MCs. If you are enjoying ChainsawMan I would also recommend Dandadan because it gives a similar vibe.

If you want a sci-fi explorer + mystery I'd read or watch (there's an anime) Astra lost in space. If you want to bawl your eyes out I'd read ''a silent voice'' it's about a bully trying to make amends with a deaf girl he bullied. It delves into depression, trauma and even touches upon suïcide. There is a movie which is good but I'd still recommend the manga over it since the movie does skip over some parts. Full metal alchemist is an amazing adventure/battle manga with well written characters, an amazing story, a well thought out magic system and stellar writing all around. There's an anime (full metal alchemist brotherhood) and of course the manga. Claymore is a manga about an all female mercenary squad who are made to hunt ghouls. It follows Claire the weakest of the squad roaming the land in hunt of ghouls. It starts out simple by her doing normal hunts but it slowly develops into a major conspiracy about the origins of the organization that she fights for.

My comment from community tab It's an average shonen done right, It's very well for a short series, Why do I think it will end after 9's defeat? The anime was announced to be released on 2024. It's created for mainstream consumption without feeling like so, They actually develop the characters for a while except the main character, his whole personality is he is a old man and a possible weapon candidate which is actually realistic. Recommended 7.5/10 For what it is, It sufficed my kaiju/toku fanboi self. I'm looking forward for the mangakas feature work because her artstyle looks beautiful

Has anyone recomended Air Gear yet.?
