As an Aussie it is so funny to hear a Horror movie about Bunyips :) In fact there is a suburb called Bunyip in Victoria Australia. Bunyips live in Billabongs which is also another funny Aussie word for a pond but not a lake. It doesn't rain that much in Oz to make big lakes.
