Yeah, they had a great first game, and Pyosik popped OFF. Even APA getting kills on Faker. Real unfortunate how they boomed out, but I think Yeon and APA have a lot to be proud of.

@@ardellandaya1965 No, I don''t think they should be proud of the GAM series at all. But they all went on the Worlds stage, played T1, and beat them well in the early game, and then made them work for the win. Not every game was top tier, but given APA and Yeon were in Academy last year (or earlier this year, for APA), and did what they did to T1, they should feel good. (I understand Core, Pyosik, and Summit have very different expectations for themselves).

The draws in Swiss have unironically been So Good. Almost every match has been a 10.

@@alex2005z Yeah, the teamkill nature of that draw was wwild, but all the games delivered. T1-GenG, LNG-JDG, JDG-BLG, DK-KT... all bangers. While it's better for regions to go against each other, The amount of EU-NA and KR-CN games we've gotten already at worlds has made it one of the best tournaments Riots had in years.

@@tomwallen7271 Until you realize that there's a chance if NRG and FNC/C9 winner get matched against each other in the 2-2 bracket a better team is going to get shafted and a trash western team gets to KO when they are clearly not a top 8 team. The Swiss Stage is rigged for western teams. The fact that the west is so bad Riot has to make a garbage format to cater to western fans is such a joke.

First game of G2 vs GENG was really fun because both teams played so well and it was highly competitive. NRG vs MAD was really fun because both teams clowned so hard that it was highly competitive. XD
