That mirror image play in game 1 was so dirty. It may not be ideal against DH, but it did show its usefulness here. DH players will always try to get some free mana burns in before the fight, but they can't tell which one is real until you start attacking

As for the development question, I can provide some insight: AI is helpful indeed - when you are doing something new, or something you haven't done in a long while. It can tell you how to do it. It can also tell you not to reinvent the wheel, but use already available resources, unless you phrase your question like "how do I create a round object, which can be used for traveling?". AI, however, can NOT create a coherent design. It can NOT make elements work well with each other. It often provides you with some base code, which you need to heavily modify to suit your specific needs. As a matter of fact, you as a developer, are still writing the program, but AI is partially writing the code. Not sure if non-developers will understand this... But basically you tell the AI what the program needs to do and in what order and it just writes the code. Which then you need to adjust to fit your needs better. It's not always good at providing you with specific answers to your questions - it often spews out the same nonsense, that you've already tried and didn't work out for you. But unlike some online forums, it's not toxic, answers right away and you can freely ask it clarifying questions. So at the very least, when you see that something isn't working, you can change your strategy in a more timely manner than it would be otherwise.

For me, AI helps to clarify the syntax and algorithm to do something. So I can tell AI what I want to do, then it will come up with the syntax (or some special algorithm) of how to achieve what I want. It helps a lot when I'm expanding my skillsets to other languages that I'm less familiar with, or write out the algorithm in a fairly efficient way without me trying to search my brain for it.

AI can recreate what others did but has not jet the potential to create own things. It is more like a super learning machine without the ability to think for itself.

@@jesuseinstein4706 that's not precise. It definitely can't "think", but it can write code that has never been written before. As long as it's similar to something it HAS been trained with. But there is a wide-spread misconception, that AI is copying 1 to 1 parts of its training data. That's not true. At least not for generative AI.

I had to rewatch the game against Not!Moon because it's hard to see exactly where they misplayed and allowed you to come back. They had a pretty big resource advantage but I guess between expanding and reviving in the middle that evened things out. You coming out on top in the fight at the expo was pretty cool, props to you (and the Scroll of the Beast!). I also read someone mention that they crept with a level 5 hero but it's not like it steals experience, is it? The Alchemist should still get it all.

12:00 easy answer, the guys who write the code are the developer. Something like Unit sounds, can be acquired from external sources, but that it is implemented well is still the job of the developer.

i understand why grubby does the 4 peon micro - more resource income but I don't understand how it works from gameplay mechanics perspective, anybody knows?

Blizzard designed 4 out of 5 peons to mine at 80% efficiency by artificially slowing down returning Peons. By repeat-sending each Peon to gold, you can be near 100% mining effectiveness as you override the slowing-effect. This is possible at any degree of diagonal gold mine position. This frees up 1 peon for extra Lumber gathering, speeding up tech!

Heal wave costs the same amount of mana no matter what level it is. In WC3, generally, higher level versions of spells are strictly better than lower level versions --- unlike in games like Dota, where they often get stronger but also more costly
