Ronaldo are monsters but their team always depended on them to finish the play. Ronaldinho created the space and assisted alot. Sadly, he didnt really have players in their prime to play next to him like Messi had Neymar & Suarez. And to talk about what happened to him, I always said that something messed up must’ve happen for him to lose ambition. 5:56 About his worth I can answer you about "Why his worth is low?" at that time. 1. He's not european player. So if he want to play in big club he must go from academy level(junior team) about 1-2 years first then he can go to the main team. If not he would count as a foreign aid which cause some rule to protect domestic players which said that "A team can send a Foreign players in a game at most 3-4 people/game etc. except he can get a work permit from one of those european countries. Which some country are more strict but some of them also very loose. and French league is one of them. He can play there for a year in the main team and get work permit by the way. instead of playing a lower team in big club. 2. Yes they have some rule to except for talented players but that still need him to play certain amount of National matches to be able to include him in this clause which obviously he can't wait that long to play in Europe or he would be forgotten by then. And he shouldn't willing to play in junior team accord to the first term either. 3. At that time this amount of value are already high compare to his few national team appearances at that time. You should know that before CR7,Gareth Belle,Neymar or Embappe break contract record left and right at that time 30M is already world record of that era. So 5M for a young players with many restriction is already very high. the high contract players just became turbulent after CR7 deal from ManU to Madrid.
