Plus I'm pretty sure even if someone did this on purpose it wouldn't be classed as identity theft. You can tell he wasn't actively trying to trick people into thinking he was Jack. He was speaking in an American accent for God's sake. And I saw someone say that if they were Jack they would sue him. For £15? I don't think so. I actually feel so bad for this kid because I've been in his type of position before (not pretending to be someone- I mean anxiously waiting for someone to reply to my texts because I think they're going to be mad or I'm going to get into trouble for some reason). I'm pretty sure from the way that the kid was texting Jack that he was extremely anxious. I have suffered with crippling anxiety for years and it is one of the WORST feelings in the world. Honestly, even though Jack probably didn't think about it, I don't think he should have included the texts from the kid. It just embarrassed him and I wouldn't want that to happen to me. All my prayers are with this child if he actually has anxiety or if he still has a fear that was caused by this experience. Just to note, I'm not saying anything was wrong with Jack including the texts in the video, just that I don't really agree with the way he handled it and I wouldn't have done that if I were in his position. I respect that it's his decision what he includes in his videos, just hope that it doesn't negatively affect the kid in anyway as anxiety can stem from the smallest of things.
