I really did stay up til 4 AM snorting pizza time making this hack... This is what happens when you have an entire month of free time and an unlimited supply of caffeine. Glad y'all enjoyed watching my hack : ) And shoutouts to Stress Level Zero for being one of the best game developer studios of all time. They made BONELAB, BONEWORKS, and Hover Junkers, which were the main thematic inspirations of this ROM hack.

You know, I feel like all the "FAKE ENDING KILL THEM ALL" jokes sometimes make me forget just how both creative and talented rovert is both when it comes to level design and gameplay ideas... this and the dog hack that he worked on are both very good examples of that Also, as far as I am aware this is the first time we have gotten a recording with synced audio played entirely within SM64, which is super impressive

Those running gags are also why Simple tends to make fun of Rovert's writing at most opportunities lol But really, as someone who's been following these comps for a few years now, Rovert is fucking amazing and impressive, especially with how far along he's come with each new hack. I honestly wanna see a full-on hack from him with his current skill level, but full-feature instead of being a short hack for a hack competition. I bet he could pull off something amazing.

Watching Rovert's hacks over the years really shows an amazing timeline of their increasing level of skill at not just making hacks but also their ability to tell a story. From the days of fake ending to the team rocket pads not working to the modern Rovert who just pushes every aspect of romhacking. They're truly turned into one of the greatest to ever do it.

Look this rom hack is incredible, like it's really really good, but I got to step back for a second and tell everyone that the game that it's referencing, Boneworks, is really awesome. Anyone who has access to a VR headset and can handle non-teleporting movement in VR should definitely give it a shot. It's a lot of fun! I've heard the sequel isn't as good but I haven't had a chance to play it yet as I can't set up my VR right now, but yeah the original is great.
