I got into you early 2022 but I didnt know you used to not watch womens basketball. Neither did I. It wasnt cause I didnt think women were good, I just was never a sports guy. But seeing Paige, Caitlin, Van Lith, Reese, over this last year and this year. I really love what womens basketball is evolving into. You right it used to matter when players had a bad day the last thing they wanted was to draw attention to the bad play. It seems the player is obsessed with showing off and making sure people see him as a bad ass. Last fall in the NFL a team was getting beat with ease. The defense intercepted the ball and I swear even thou they weren't even close to a score the whole defense went to the endzone and performed of group dance, or play. They got their asses kicked yet acted foolishly. Tom Laundry, , Ditka, Vince Lombardi. Tuna, Tuna helper "Belichick didn't allow it. A player should never place himself above everyone else. The team and the game should always be on top

My niece played college basketball…. Smaller colleges, but after going to one game, I was shocked on how wild their play was. It was more like a pickup game and lots of cheap shots and underhanded play. Afterwards, she looked like she’d been in a street brawl. The boys followed them and their play was like a ballet. Actual plays executed and smooth as butter. I was genuinely surprised at the difference. Basketball is like a religion to people of color and if you beat them in a sport that they believe they “own”, it can get violent….
