That second clip lol. You know you're dealing with an absolute master of the game when, after several seconds of doing nothing, in the most important moment of that character's life, the number one most important action the player deems worth executing first is.. backpedaling. That clip belongs in a museum.

when I was like 13 I used to play with the ARROW keys on the keyboard so imagine a player that kept moving his hands back and forth to his mouse and the arrow keys when moving and clicking buttons. LMAO bruh Im not kidding. We all start somewhere man
@intuit13Ай бұрын
@@Robert_D_Mercer i used the arrow keys throughout my entire time playing wow. I raided from tbc - mid cata (quit after firelands), super hardcore, main tanking for some of the top guilds in NA. Everyone was always freaked out when I told them how I played. When I started playing WoW I had never really played computer games before, so I gravitated to the arrow keys (and started by clicking abilities with mouse, obv). But in very short order I learned to use keybinds like a 'normal' person - I used the 6 keys above the arrow keys as well as the left-side of the right keypad, plus right shift/control for modifiers. Worked perfectly fine for me. Was able to consistently hit #1 parses (as prot warrior) on WMO (who remembers, wow meter online during wotlk ;) and WoL.

The number of people who still backpedal in wow is STAGGERING. If you're playing hardcore you need to figure that out
@ChordgailleАй бұрын
The amount of people who don't know that back pedaling actually prevents melee hits from hitting you further than they should have never played a mage or a hunter. When you strafe or jump there's a mechanic that essentially extends the melee range of mobs. Strafing is only for when you've already made the distance or absolutely have to run. Otherwise you back pedal.
@ChordgailleАй бұрын
That being said the dude back pedaling in the second clip is very funny. Dudes on real life latency lag

@@Chordgaille tell me you have no idea what you're talking about without telling me you have no idea what you're talking about. dude doesn't know how to strafe dodge dazes and thinks backpeddling is the answer lmao. backpeddling doesn't prevent anything from hitting you unless it's stationary and already being tanked and you're going to get cleaved. backpeddling is inheirently slower, it doesn't matter if something in melee is farther because it's going to catch you faster... just don't comment on YT anymore

for the chinese clip, you can see the night elf hunter right next to him is not flagged (or his pets would be attackable? im not sure) but i often run with nameplates up so i wouldnt be surprised in that case. They could have all been flagged from a buff run or soemthing similar who knows if it is hardcore. Ihope so. haha
@l337pwnageАй бұрын
nameplates show flagged or not, at least that's my experience.
@MrTwisted003Ай бұрын
At 11:05 it says that the Warlock "body pulled" the boss, but at 11:07 you can see the Warrior threw something at the boss.... then they blamed the Warlock, very sus. Re flagged in SW... your nameplate has the actual "flag", the Alliance/Horde symbol IS the flag and only shows when you're [PVP] flagged. 2nd clip... This is why when I am a tank in anything, i am the leader and my healer is the boss... whatever we say or can handle Although it never really comes down to that because i always get awesome heals and/or i can pull whatever i can handle. Sometimes I'll even tell a hunter/mage/rogue to pull the next mob to me while tanking the first while we're leveling. It's more fun, and they don't get yelled at for pulling.
@victorfabro107Ай бұрын
No you're seeing it wrong. The warrior was already tagging the other room, you can see him starting to throw his throwing knife already before the Warlock body aggros the boss..
@MrTwisted003Ай бұрын
@@victorfabro107 You're right, I wasn't reading nameplates. I had assumed they knew what they were doing and going towards (and facing) the off rooms first before pulling the boss. Instead it looks like they [almost] knew something was going to happen there by facing the room they weren't pulling. Either this was all set up, or they knew the lock would do it again (if they did done did it b4)

Seriously, bind your abilities, and to key's you'll actually press. There's literally no reason to be clicking your action bars in a fight. None. It's slow, and when the situation is these, you WILL mis-click on an ability that will get you killed, mark my words.
