Davy, please….When traveling with parents….grandparents or any senior person, please put their seatbelt on!! It’s difficult to put it on …..(I now realize it as I’m a senior myself)….some seatbelts are complicated, besides our fingers….even our hands don’t work as they should…..We’re very thankful that our children take such good care when we travel with them…. It’s very important to remember….. Also….speeding is dangerous plus it can be upsetting to grandma even though she might not complain…..Keep your focus Son!!

Watching you drive a friend’s car, that he let you use and you drive it so recklessly is the height of ungratefulness and irresponsibility. Your youth aside, you say all these “right things” then behave like a dumbass with your grandma in the car, speeding thru town, you’re an embarrassment Davy. Speed does kill Davy, and unfortunately those killed are usually the innocent ones. Grow up, Davy.

When this happens you need to put something infront of the front tires to grip on. Two large enough but flattish stones so the tire can grip on it. Just push it as far as possible under the front tires and then go in and start. Or even some wood across the front tires.

People follow things they do not understand and Christmas, the mother does not understand. The day of Christ's birth could be recorded from Genesis to Revelation. But the principle would be: Did the Almighty command the world, giving the details that make up the celebrations that constitute Christmas? The same question applies to celebrations of the beginning of a new year. There is one piece of logic and commonsense regarding those two mentioned above. If the Almighty has said: "Do not be loving year world" and the world leads in those celebrations, how are they credited to the "Church"? Certainly not the scriptural Church but a man--made church or Satan's. What part did Germany play in the birth of Christ? I have to ask that question because the trees which someone has decided to name Christmas trees, originated in Germany and long after the birth, death and resurrection of Christ. Centuries later than those three incidents. The birth of Christ on the 25th December accommodated the pagans forced to become "Christians". A lot of things accommodated pagans when what was called Church was allowed Roman state intervention. When what was classified as Church was not the arrangement of which "Christ is the head" but of which politics and religious men were and continue to be the head. That is, in reality, Babylon the Great, "the mother of all harlots", "she who committed fornication with the kings of the earth". It's not only paganism and politics that feature withing Babylon the Great but the influences of the rich and the famous. She provides a constant supply of music by which members and visitors should dance. It is a case of "Don't go to the dance halls. We will bring the dance halls to you" plan. However, she has been given this promise: "And I heard another voice out of heaven say: "Get out of her my people, if you do not want to share in her sins, and if you do not want to receive part of her plagues". Yes, the fine fruit that you desired has left you, and all the delicacies and splendid things have vanished from you, never to be found again. Thus with a swift pitch will Babylon the Great city be hurled down, and she will never be found again. And the sound of singers who accompany themselves on the harp, of musicians, of flutists, and of trumpeters will never be heard in you again. And no voice of a bridegroom and of a bride will ever be heard in you again". Read Revelation chapters 17 and 18, people. Just do yourselves that favour.

David jnr, so your grandfather had a child or children with his sister? That's the only way that woman could be your grandmother. If she is your mother's aunt, she is your great aunt. Try hard not to be reckless in speech because a wrong thing could have unwanted or devastating consequences. You see, were your grandfather still alive, people could be dropping notes through his door, approaching him on the street and making online videos addressing him as an incestuous man.
@maryjanealtburger3948
@maryjanealtburger3948 14 сағат бұрын
In Africa traditionally your mother’s or father’s cousin’s mother is like your grandmother. In Africa family relationship is recognised very Farin the family lineage. So this has nothing to do with a grandfather having children with his sister.
@oliviairving114
@oliviairving114 9 сағат бұрын
@maryjanealtburger3948, I see what you mean because you are 3rd generation. And your mother, for example, could have been born to her aunt, making her aunt her mother, instead and she would, therefore, be your grandmother, instead of your great-aunt. The thing is, when you are exposing your nation to another nation or the world, which you know does/do not mirror your culture 100% or at all, you should try giving details. "The father of my mother has a sister. Although his sister is aunt to my mother and great aunt to my mother's offspring, here in (Africa/Kenya) we relate to our great-aunt as grandmother." You've shown it could be done and you did so very simply and easily. I kept hearing a word and wishing those who mentioned it would show the viewers outside of Kenya or Africa a close-up so they would see if they know it by other names. Would spend a few seconds focussing their cameras on that plant. How to spell it was very puzzling to me. I decided to search for the word, phonetically. But that word is not spelt the way it is pronounced. I tried to find both the name of that plant and what it could be. That plant happens to be known as kale, in these parts. And a plant I love to eat. And this is how it is spelt- sukuma wiki. But this is what I hear coming from Kenya- sqoo-muh-wee-kee. Knowing how it is spelt, I would say- suh-kuh-mah wick-ee. My point is, though, I shouldn't have to wonder and wonder and make such an effort to find out what is being talked about. If you don't show objects in clear view nor spell words for viewers, you rob people of opportunities to learn. I learned something that has added to my knowledge of Africa. And that came from you, without a fuss. You were so very polite. I have to let you know that I do appreciate your taking the time to do what you have done. It was a piece of valuable education. You keep that spirit to pass on/share your knowledge when needed. You would be a brilliant KZbinr because you have the knack of communication. Is your profession in education? Thank you oh so much because I live to learn.

@@maryjanealtburger3948, thank you again, sweet girl. I am very glad to see that you have a profession and that you are educated. Unless one lives a tribal life, education is the way out of poverty. Teaching is my profession but I saw my job as two-way learning with pupils and students- that teachers are there to learn, too, from those they teach. I just love to learn. The day I had to finish school was the worse day of my life, so far. For years on end I dreamt of school but not as a pupil/the one being taught but the one doing the teaching. Although, in reality, I continued school since schools are where I worked and teaching was my first job and my profession. Your kind of normality has become a rarity, today. It is very hard to find people who think, reason and are conscious of others. Human psychology is always at the front of my thinking. The scriptures say: "Think not on your own interests but on the interest of others", something I can see that you do. You have added so much to my day, knowing that you exist. Our mum had a motto: "I'm glad I didn't die last night". She used to say that whenever she found out something new that was elevating, upbuilding, pleasing- positive in some way. That "something new", is certainly you, on this occasion. When you keep a pure heart towards others, you never know what positive difference you are going to make to someone's day, any day. If you do become a KZbinr, I am already subscribed and I will be passing on recommendations.
