I actually was a high school mascot for a brief period of time. It’s basically cheerleading for the kids who can’t do flips and prefer to be wrapped in 3 layers of ice and cooling rags for hours on end 😂 I enjoyed it, but not enough to stick with it like the mascots who went out for competition. It has gradually become less popular for some reason, at least that’s what I’ve been seeing
