OMG, that was THE coolest high school I've ever seen! Total shout-out to those kids... they're doing awesome. I starting to notice a pattern with the daily positivity... food... I think we share a meal (or several) with Mikey each time... LOL... still don't know how you stay so skinny. RJ, totally adorable as ever... and OMG, the suspense.... can't wait to see what the surprise is!!!

Upmost respect for these students who has chosen to make something of themselves and employable for their future. We all have talents in different areas and I find Filipino talent in housekeeping etc, one of the best and they work really hard. By the way, burning question, who gets to drink the alcohol when it comes to taste testing? 😁
@timetraveler62575 жыл бұрын
teacher first to taste it... after that the whole class will taste it to know the taste of the alcholol that they make..

😁 That is a high school I wish I could have attended. I felt like i didn't get enough out of my Hospitality classes after watching this (although I passed greatly) what these students are doing now we would have to have done in TAFE (college) or University. These kids are doing fantastic and great to see they have direction and confidence in reaching a goal 😍

Yes kudos to them for speaking english. Even if just making it simple. Yeah it is cool to have those kind of training they can go whatever their carrer in life to go to college or a business perhaps.

That is amazing that they are teaching skills that will help them in the future. I wish here is the U.S. the kids where more motivated to leave life skills in high school that they may not be getting at home. Keep up the amazing job.

That is the coolest high school! I wish we had a bar tending class at my high school but I don"t think an American school district will ever allow that. Cooking class, we had, and it was my elective class my entire high school. For 4 years of high school my first period class was cooking. Memories!

wow now I know how to put a pillow in a pillowcase at my old age lol 😂 wild that the vo-tech school allows bartending - in North America/US you have to be over 21 to handle or be around the serving of alcohol and over 18 to handle some kinds of knife equipment in a kitchen.

Wow, things are so different there in the Philippines. Here in NY the bartending schools don't use real alcohol or mixes, everything is just colored water. If they were to use real alcohol not only would it cost a lot to buy all the different liquors and liqueurs and mixes, it would also cost like 50 grand for the liquor license, and students can't be under legal age, they have to be over 18. But I think it's awesome that they teach high school students cooking, housekeeping and work skills. What a great school. I would have loved to have gone to such a school. I hope they also have teach them some survival skills such as how to make fire, how to fish, hunt, raise animals, gardening/grow food/homesteading, woodworking/carpentry, welding, electrical, plumbing and mechanics and engineering, and not just service industry skills. I'm guessing that school is not the norm, that school is sponsored by Japan to train better service staff, but it puts the U.S. schools to shame.
