Enjoying these trips with family and friends, nice change from bike reviews. One trip idea would be to take a Guzzi to the factory on the banks of Lake Como. I've cycled around there and it's absolutely beautiful, doing it on a Guzzi is on my bucket list - and given there are two of the things in my garage, I have no real excuse not to!

Love your ride videos! 2024 you inspired me to get out touring again, so I did the overnight ferry from Plymouth to Santander, then across for 4 nights in the Pyrenees, then back through France to get Le Shuttle back to Folkestone 👌🏽 Just about to book a Tour of Brittany with my son..........makes you feel soooo happy when you've currently got the mid-winter blues!

That's not far from me, I live 20km from Bruges. It is a historic city and you had a great time, it wasn't too busy with crowds, but now around Christmas and New Year it is magical. The streets look familiar to me

Perhaps Paris should be your next destination as Hannah adds a certain “je ne sais quoi” to your already excellent videos. Would be interested to know your final thoughts on the e-clutch as an aid to touring and whether you would choose this over a more traditional set up?

No wonder this old town centre Hotel offers a 6-course brekkie.... have you seen the Prices? (just wondering if they do Bacon buttys😂). At over 200 for the night, one might be tempted to call this place "rather posh"! But anyway, with all these features, such as the twin "basins", that fabulous garden (surely even more beautiful in Summer), and all the other cosy amenities..., i'd be tempted to say how lucky you are Kate to get to stay there. BTW, you ended up facing a police car while you were leaving riding around Grand-Place...in the wrong direction. Yep, you did. you can just book outside the gates so to speak but you usually gotta book it for an hour after you're there as you have to be 1 hour early. Then if you're early as requested, you'll be offered to squeeze on the next one if there is space :)

I think I couldn’t be able to eat, but I understand that it is an experience like some other ones even more eccentric and useless…at least here you can fill your belly and recharge your batteries. The British Empire may be in tatters but I don't think any other nation has figured out breakfast as well as we have. The ridiculous selection of food you were presented with made me bilious. The Champagne was the only good idea - I'll suggest it down my local greasy spoon. I don't like the term "full English" because I'm Welsh, but when it comes to breakfasts that's what you want. Americans and Canadians are pretty good at it, but they only stole the idea from British settlers. Good film, your bike sounded nice. Despite a lifetime on bikes I've only ever owned one four-cylinder, a Honda CB750 about 200-years' ago. Cheers!
