His style is definitely his size, he's known for the SIZE of his cakes, not so much the decorating, a lot of bakers can decorate small cakes like that, so a big cake would be no problem. I want to see more talent and ingenuity on Buddy's part; he's been doing this for so long now I know he's smart enough to think of another "wow factor" for his cakes other than making them HUGE...
