I love the passion you and Ed are putting into the channel lately, but I gotta say, I'm not sure these intros are really the way to go.. Might just be me, but I feel like Trump-like "cold opens" that tease the big / interesting moment of the video would suit Firebat's style better than these Kripp-like explanations, especially when you need to totally-not-repeat-them like this lol. Might depend on the type of video though. Just an idea to consider!

this deck kinda reminds me of an old priest deck that used the healbot card to kill the opponent. Healbot was a card that healed 8hp on the opponent as a deathrattle, the goal was to resurrect four of them in one turn and killing them all while there is a "your healing effects deal damage instead" card in play, that way you dealt 32 face damage to the opponent.

I haven't played in a while so I might be out of the loop, but isn't it just referred to as Auchenai effect, or are they removed? Then there's that spell with the effect that was used for combos, Embrace the Shadows? And IIRC you're thinking of Corrupted Healbot - just Healbot was the 5 mana 3/3 with a battlecry to heal your own hero. :)

That's actually Corrupted Healbot. It was a N'zoth deck with Auchenai Soulpriest. There was an earlier version with Zombie Chow and Baron Rivendare, too.

Yo Bat I loved when you said "I'm getting better at it" with that tone that lets me know you are gaining confidence in yourself with the deck. Which is scary for opponents. Reminded me of you saying Dog has talent, Firebat has effort. I beg to differ but yeah Firebat put in the effort he becomes dangerous. Lethal you could say.

I wasn't going to watch these Il'gynoth videos. I don't find OTK desk that fun to watch. I'd seen the OTK in a series of clips on Trolden or Rage Orc and figured that was enough. I'm glad I watched. Seeing Firebat make those command decisions to tempo out or out skill his opponents by knowing that was coming was fun to experience. The thought process explanations are very helpful as well. I don't play Hearthstone but it gives a sense of immersion that makes this content enjoyable.

Yep. I heard somewhere that Blizzard's goal was to have three viable decks for every class this expansion. Priest has... flavors of control: Galakrond, Spell, Highlander, dragon (those are all packages so you can mix and match), the res priest. Don't get me wrong, I love priest, but all the priest decks are the same right now. DH has pure aggro (built around Acrobatics and Voracious Reader), burn (built off the soul package), and combo (built around Ill'gynoth). I really hate their three because it's all damage. Half of the cards they print for DH are there explicitly to remove counter play. Want to run an aggro deck out of resources? Nah, you have to out heal their entire deck because they'll be drawing it. Want to play a taunt because you're a rogue and literally cannot heal? Nah, Kayn. It just sucks that there's a deck right now (that has existed since the dawn of demon hunter) that exists where I can sit at 23 health on turn 7 while the opponent has an empty board and still feel like there's a significant chance of death in the next turn or two. Quick note though, I don't think DH really has any mid-range options. I've seen friends play against an outcast DH deck that looks pretty mid-rangey, but you don't see that in Diamond-Legend. At least I haven't.

@@SerechII I never understood the "priest is scumbag" mentality. I get disliking res priest- it was certainly annoying to deal with endless waves of taunts- but why hate on Galakrond or spell? Those decks have always seemed to be fair, tier 2 decks (even easier to kill than say, control warrior). I don't know, I'm less likely to dislike a priest than an aggro deck.

@@elijahwilliams6977 it's about the game dragging on for no real reason, reactive decks are usually hated because they don't kill you, they just bore you to death and answer any fun cards you might want to play with efficient removal just to make the game long enough to where they win on having a deck that aims to do nothing for as long as possible It's the same in any other game honestly, be it Blue players in MTG or Techies pickers in DotA, if your aim is to do nothing but prevent the other person from having fun until they run out of time then you are a scumbag, I'd rather get smorced in 5 minutes by a hunter than play a priest and be equally screwed because they drew all their removal and I just don't know it until 20 minutes in when I'm nearing fatigue Mind control effects are even more aggravating and bullshit and it's the only class identity priests have left other than killing stuff and healing Sorry I got into rant mode but I wanna make clear that warrior and warlock whenever they are controlly are fine, because they have some interesting mechanics or at least kill you at some point but priest is just the "I enjoy it when other people are miserable" class and I'm happy it's been trash for some time
