I really love this build. It demolishes everything on the field and the double special is a huge perk too. Also if you’re in a GM or somewhere that has champions, you can swap the pulse grenade for a flashbang since you’d be able to jolt with your punch (plus, with lethal current, your punch is already a mini grenade). So you can easily stun both Unstoppable (blind) and Overload (jolt) champs and equip Arbalest for the Barriers EDIT: Forgot there’s a mechanic in the aspect where if you power melee a jolted enemy it blinds them, so you don’t really need the blinding grenade

Yea but it's still great just to get the ball rolling. Sometimes it's hard to get started cause the enemies are too beefy or there's too many close together. Throwing the flashbang makes it safer to run into a group of enemies and also softens them up so you can one shot with your first combination blow instead of repeatedly whittling down their health till they're in range for combination blow to proc

For those wondering, the only shotguns that roll with One Two Punch and Surplus are Found Verdict, One Small Step, and Retold Tale. Out of these, I recommend Retold Tale as it is pretty easy to just run through Dreaming City activities. Or at least easier than Vog and One Small Step is a Rapid Fire Frame. Edit: Hand in Hand also rolls with both, however after having messed with this build for longer, Retold Tale is still probably your best bet.

Ran an Assassin’s Cowl Arc build all last season. Never used anything else. Not only was it good, it was fun to use since you could really get in the thick of things with it. Ran a one-two punch shotgun with it. Looking forward to trying this build since I’ve mostly been running a void build this season. Thanks for the vids.

I first got this build from your "how to solo shattered throne on any class" video, and that one still holds up! That said, I'm very pleased to have an updated version so that I can eliminate all reasons for failure except skill issue. When you copy only parts of a build you never can be quite sure where the shortcoming is from. I did solo my first dungeon with the earlier build, but haven't been able to flawless yet.

@@Zerphion Ikelos has a tighter spread and faster handling, I use that one or my trusted wastelander with 1-2 punch, depending on if energy or kinetic slot is free.

Build is a blast. Unlike a lot of the videos of this style that I've tried; you did a good job of breaking down the build without *too much* overhype or adds. Because I've been pairing it with Thunderlord and various Jolting secondary weapons; I have tinkered a bit with the aspects to great success. Build seems to be okay at Legendary but for me at least struggles for content beyond that.

Been using Assassin's Cowl arc hunter build like this since Arc 3.0. The only issue I have with it is that sometimes randoms/teammates kill too many enemies, making it a little harder to keep combination blow x3 up all the time. And that getting the loop started in harder activities can be annoying, making teammates ruining my x3 combination blow stacks more of a problem.

@@Giavel84 the problem with liar's in you dont have the survivability that Assassin's Cowl gives you and in most GMs you wont want to be in punching range

@@jacobmccauley1553 the good thing about liar's handshake is that it gives you chunks of health back when you punch, even if you don't kill the enemy. This is something that cowl doesn't do. Regarding GM's, honestly I'm not able to make use of this build there, no matter what exotic I bring, cowl or handshake. For this type of content I find more suitable builds like the gyrfalcon or the aeon swift.

Good Vid, but u need to show this in a legend or master lost sector cause the build doesnt work in endgame, since they nerfed one two punch....once the red or yellow bars have to much health to one- or twoshot ur dead...little bit better with liars handshake. But in general not worth running anymore over other builds...sadge

Personally prefer Liars Handshake, since Arc Melee already heal, and it ramps up more Damage, although the invisibility is pretty neat. I'd also go with Reaper on the Class Item, since that way you'll produce 2 Spheres for you and your Teammates instead of just one. It's what I do on my Wormhusk Caress Titan, plus some other stuff to create 2-3 Spheres per punch with Knockout active

I've been using this build playing with my clanmates, and I'm generating twice as many orbs as everyone else and leaving purple bricks all over the battlefield. Love it, and the team is loving it, too.

Liar's handshake can be used to melee brawl with most bosses, granted they don't one shot you with their melee. Because you only need to melee, or be melee'd to proc Liar's handshake, it will heal you without having to actually kill an enemy. So you can brawl the boss for the entire duration of Combination punch. Been using this build for multiple years now and I hope this helps

The deicide is a good shotgun for this build, it can roll one-two and graverobber simultaneously so you never have to reload, and being void can get volatile rounds every time you pick up an orb from one of the artifact perks, which is basically always with this build.

I've been using a build similar last season. With liars Handshake, the thing about one-two punch is you have to use it for the punches in between the liars handshake punches. Not only giving you health for each LH punch, which is very usefull on bosses, but giving even more dmg. If you never used this kind of build, AC is the way to go. But if you need more dmg and can survive without the cowl, then LH is the way to go.

Thank you for this build video Mactics. I tried using this build to run Avalon for the Vexcalibur catalyst. The trouble is that the adds sometimes have to be punched two or three times to kill them. This leaves you vulnerable and kept getting me killed. Running the non-Legendary version, you can one punch most adds and this works well.

I opted to use the flashbang grenade instead and it's an evil build for higher level content. Sometimes it's hard to get the ball rolling cause there's some beefy boys but with the flashbang grenade not only is it safer to recklessly charge into a pack of enemies since they can't shoot but it also deals damage and softens some of them up making it easier to proc combination blow. You can throw it at an enemy right in front of you, dodge backwards to avoid the blast which automatically will return your melee anyways and leaves them wide open for you to beat them to death. It recharges stupid fast as well. All the poor ads will see is a blinding light and wripples in the air. You completely rob them of their ability to fight back. The one short coming of this build is sometimes you really do need those long ranged primary weapons cause if there aren't enough ads my machine gun (which has basically become my primary weapon) will run out of ammo. Then I gotta scrounge up some more or switch out a special weapon.

My solar hunter build is literally just this with weighted throwing knives and conditional finality for freezing and extra knife damage, then an auto loading chill clip palmyra-b as my heavy for stasis’s slow for overload enemys. With the conditional finality being unstoppable and rockets being overload, having any weapon as a primary will work because of radiant’s anti barrier effect

Had a build very similar to this but with Riskrunner. Called it "Battery Licker." It did really well in dungeons and as a mostly casual player, it let me do every seasonal activity for Season of the Seraph and actually let me earn my first ever title. Arc Hunters rule.

I have been running this for a couple of days and it melts everything in normal PVE. I have had random people add me as a Bungie friend from doing strikes, I suspect due to the number of orbs this build pumps out; consistently over 100 in strikes.
