As far as “new products you can’t get” go, I don’t think it’s inherently wrong or tone deaf. Personally I believe that stems from creators that fail to acknowledge the issue. GN does a good job of laying out their thought process that “you may not have it now, but having the information will let you make your decision without hesitation once you can buy something.” So as long as you can acknowledge that it’s an issue, which you did well in the intro of this video, then I think you’re fine because after all, it’s your job and you’re still making quality content worth watching. Keep up the great work!

@Sean Price from my understanding most of these cards that reviewers get are just temporary loans from regional PR offices. Each regional office has a set number for review models to distribute among all the reviewers in that region, so the allocated time with the card is based on the reviewers rating. While many product are given out free these high demand cards are not, and those that reviewers have keep are actually the ones they bought, granted they probably use their clout with distributors to be able to have them set aside for purchase. I don’t think Kyle is allowed to keep this limited edition card unless he can finagle a purchase through the distributor

I wish these three slot cards would actually add the third expansion slot cover and build in a sag bracket. You could do some lovely things with triangulation from that bottom slot to the top far corner of the card. I feel like there has been a real shortage of demonstrations of how the RGB on the Red Devil RX 5700 XT can be configured, and you seem like you might be the right person to provide that content with this new version. I bought some of my pieces during amazon prime day, some during the black friday. I bought 2x8 ram on sell outside of these sells as well as 2x8 at full price because I was dumb ! I also bought the case at full price (p400a) but it's often not available so I wanted to be sure to have it. I counted that I saved over 600$ CAD with sells ( I saved 300$ on my monitor, quite happy!). Now, I'm just waiting on cyber day for mobos( I do not want to buy anything from MSI) and AMD 6800 XT and ryzen 7 5700x ( I am willing to wait until January to see if it comes out or if we hear any news from it, usually it takes them 2 months to release a new CPU). Totale cost of my entire build : 3 500$ CAD without my 2 joysticks, keyboard, mouse and headset. I didn't think I'd spend so much this year.....

True, but blame the retailers and companies fully allowing it and even getting in on the fun by jacking up prices times 2 or more. Wal-Mart is a perfect example, they jacked up the Ryzen 5 5600X from $300 to $600 over night. Other companies are following suit. It seems like the problem is not really scalpers or bitcoin miners, but companies giving those a-holes the cash and credit to buy their own stock, go online jack the price up, to justify the companies to then do so too claiming "Demand". It really seems like a joint effort, no way all these people got millions to buy all this product up in such short time. Seems like they are being given endless funds to buy all stock up and exploit the lock down, which will go on for another few years, you can guarantee that. Another aspect, is that if the "Scalpers" get a huge cut, the rest goes to said company unreported, because they will not admit the scheme because it is illegal to do if companies are involved. This means higher profits, for the, investors, and share holders. It's pretty obvious at this point. Their beta test of this was blaming bit coin miners for the jacking up of prices to the thousands on $500 cards or more, not even 2 years ago and they got away with it. Now, this. A huge give away, is the time frame, greed will not wait, it is why only 2 years later, (technically one), this is happening again, but with almost every single pc part you can find, and the consoles now too.

Not at all when you consider the performance and technology they provide. The new gen GPUs are all nearly half the price of 20-series gpus when they came out, which was first-gen RT and DLSS technologies. The ultra low price of these new gen gpus is ridiculous and should be far more expensive. Which is why they are so sought after to the point where the only way to get one is to pay double the MSRP from a scalper or reseller.

@AdrianMuslim Hi I would suggest using the Adrenaline built in option to undervolt the card, it is as simple as 1 click and undervolting it should reduce heat quite a bit and shoullld not impact frames all that much at 1080 and 1440p. Hope this helps! Happy Gaming :)
