One thing that annoys me when I play Fernando is whenever I’m trying to cover a teammates retreat or give them cover to safely advance, they always wanna push past me or actively avoid staying behind the shield despite being low to mid health. Just let me protect you please

I have two bots on my Discord server which you can use to look up all kinds of stats. The most mainstream one is Paladins Assistant, which provides detailed match analytics and player stats (like your average kda for every champion). The bot used in this video is the brand new, still in beta Itto Bot, which has an even more detailed match analytics screen and can look up other unique player information like any player's friends list.

Hi Andrew! why are you using the towering barrier card? I remember you making a video about it, and saying it is unnecessary... also, I tested it myself in training range and it just made a one second difference while recharging the shield after it breaking down. Is there something im missing or don't understand here?

Super late response, but towering barrier is not worth using at all. It regenerates fast enough without towering barrier anyways. The difference is so little that you can barely notice it anyways unless you run that card at 5. Not worth taking up that many card slots for it. Don’t use it, not sure why he’s using it tbh.

@@vinn283 yeah, as I said, about a one second difference, mainly im running a build with hot pursuit 5 hp 5 and the card that gives you cd on charge when your shield takes dmg on 3

@@vinn283 A build I used back then was last stand at 1 (because of the nerf), immovable barrier at 5 for healing, Dire need at 5 for mobility while shielded and heat transfer at 3 for charge cd, but that made me play more like a point bot and discouraged me from pushing harder and buying rejuvenate

what if guardian gave DR to shields? would it be good then? it would of course have to give more DR than haven in light of wrecker existing, but what do you think?

I think that's a good idea on paper but in practice it would probably be almost always bought by shield users and then it would basically force anyone who wants to do anything to the shield to buy wrecker so it would give you on advantage and force the other team to buy around you, like in Torvalds case, so it would probably need a counter balance to make sure it's not too op

Haven and Veteran are only different (besides the numbers) because some champions deal %base damage, and that damage value changes upon interacting with DR or more health. I don't believe that happens to shields, so Shield DR would produce the exact same effect as Guardian

Fernando is perfect right now. All they need to do is make guardian worth buying. (make it DR for shields or increase movment speed while your shield is active, or generate x% ammo when you use your shield.)

Aegis seems like a forced shield-trick crutch (you can't shield surf with his non-Aegis talents), and Barik definitely doesn't feel like an A+ tier champion at least based on this video.

Trashcan game if you lose a match or get the hidden elo bug 😮 the game consistently puts people on a losing streak on your team making it impossible to rank up also mmr mixed match results are the worst I've ever experienced. 😂that's not all lots of really new teammates fresh elo get into your diamond match 😢 99 % of victories are one sided victory 😂
