Ed is a weird character, he’s good but not suffocatingly good like Bison or Akuma, he requires high execution to be good to the player, no noob is playing Ed and soloing 7 people in a row. To lower players, he’s not good since the skill floor is one of the higher in the game just below Sim. His potential is unlimited as in his options are almost unlimited. I can’t see a nerf that doesn’t kill him other than his lvl 2 meter gain, nerf his damage and he’s bad, nerf his Snatcher range and he’s not good (guys, it gets beat with OD projectiles) his fireball is already subpar, being overshadowed by flicker, upper already’s a below average DP, flicker punches already have long startup frames, and his OD is the 2nd worst uppercut in the game (in front of Lily’s) with Bison, you can nerf his damage and he’ll be balanced but Ed? He already had to work for this spot being “mid” for most of his sf6 life so, hopefully they’ll do it where it makes him top 10 or not bad.
