That was a real horse ! I have had an interest in croc hunting since long before it became fairly common to do it. Andy, we always hear that they can reach 20 feet long or more, but in all my years, I have rarely seen one any longer than this one in this video. Have you ever actually seen a true 20 footer?

The PH did NOT fail. This goes right back to the man who squeezed the shot off. That said It goes back to the bullet used. It goes to where the bullet really did strike. Every once in a while, what was thought to be a perfect shot turns out to be not. Besides, Zebra are a lot tougher than you think.

Anyone who tells you they do not miss, doesn't hunt much. Stuff happens in the field and not every shot will be perfect. What matters is that he learnt from it and will be back in the field better prepared next time having learnt from his mistake.
