It is also permitted when an unbeliever chooses to leave (1 Cor. 7:15). Get your facts right before casting your stones. And the issue with the CofE is celebrating continuing sin, calling evil good. Divorce, notwithstanding the exceptions is also sin as a result of adultery, but it is not celebrated as something to be practised with the church's blessing. With repentance comes forgiveness of sin. Blessing homosexual practice is an abomination by an apostate clergy. By your sneering comments, you would make a fine Pharisee.

I’m Catholic 👋🏼 it’s biblical and stick to what Jesus teaches, people love to twist the Catholic teachings and they don’t understand or know what they teach, take no notice to them ❤ I started off in a Church of England and they was nice people but it’s teaching is do what you want to do God still loves you, but Jesus teaches repeat and turn away from sin, I was frustrated because I was trying to follow Jesus Christ teaches and learn, when I was saved by Jesus years ago, and I’d ask questions and the reply was always do what you want, Jesus Christ moved me to another church in such a smooth way that I didn’t realise that at the time, I moved home and the church I ended up in was Catholic and the things I wanted to do to follow Jesus, that church did, so I was happy about it, I do believe people in the Church of England believe in Jesus Christ but they carnt decide what they want to keep and what they want to ignore because God has the final say over everything, I hope they turn to Jesus Christ again instead of following the worlds wants out of the church, it has to be what Jesus Christ wants as it’s His bride, we are His children and He loves us all but we have to follow Christ not man 😁

Well said. The only thing I would say is that in the verse quoted it mentions abstaining from sexual immorality. However 'sexual immorality' is not defined. Unbelievers and critics won't listen unless further quotes explaining what is considered sexually immoral are there I think. For example 1 Timothy 1:8-11. We live in difficult times, thank you so much for being brave and speaking the truth.

Jesus told his disciples to wipe the dust off their feet of every city that wouldn’t listen to him, Luke 10:11, but goes on to say it will be better for Sodom on judgment day than for those cities that have seen him but won’t repent #perspective 😅 That being said in Matthew 11:20-24 Jesus explains that even the city of Sodom would have repented if they’d seen him and the miracles he performed.
