🔐Schlage Kwikset Sargent and Yale locks should be used on your front door. Lock pickers and criminals will have a hard time picking any of these locks. The only way you can stop brute forced entry is with a good surveillance camera. Subscribe to my locksmith channel to learn more🗝

I've used my Lishi Y11 and Y13 in wafer locks and they work just fine. They work in both clockwise and counter clockwise tension. Makes cutting a new key so much easier than decoding it by looking down the "unlocked" picked keyway. Give it a try sometime.

Yes, you’re exactly right. I just threw in some slang for good measure. I love that little tool. It reaches everything in the car and probably is the only tool you need to get in any car along with an air bag. A Maher sleeve and a plastic prybar watch out you’re in business. Thanks for you telling me you like my videos that goes along ways. Enjoy the rest of them. I’ve created 595 videos and 340 shorts so you’ll need lots of popcorn, peanuts and candied apples. You’re so welcome I’m shooting a video renaming locations in the expensive briefcase I might as well use it seeing as I paid just under $100 for it. I use lacquer thinner to erase the original names of the pics and using a silver sharpie for my list of pics, you’ll see in the video. Thanks again.

You don't need a six and five pin of each, get the six and use a 4mm spacer. For decoding with the spacer you need to shift up so #2 is your new #1

Hi hi, I've been in lock sport for 2o, and halfway I turned my most loved hobby into making a really good living. I was wanting to ask you if you like the programming part. It makes a ton of money for me very fast but manual picking is near n dear to my heart. Although, when my brother pranked me by burying my car keys in his huge front yard, so I reprogrammed his house lock to a different frequency so he couldn't get in. 😅. Lol I guess the programming part can stay lol

@@joshdurbin8045 yes I do love and hated them as well. Programming is an art in itself for all the different lock manufacturers, Koba is one of the hardest pieces of junk to work on , Schlage NDE is by far and away a better product, but not built too well all the different cabinet locks such as Triteq offers alternative to basic cabinet locks I guess what I’m trying to say is I’m well-versed in electronic locks as most if not better versed in these types of locks, but I still believe in second means of access such as a bypass code or a mechanical key what say you?

There’s lots of old hardware, especially at Billings being torn down, oryou can even stop in at your local hospital and see if they’ve got some cylinders or things of that nature laying around in there boneyard make sure to sanitize everything with Windex. Does the little pins that come in a rekey kit labeled "anti pick" pins keep tools like this from working?
@doorandlocktips
@doorandlocktips 2 ай бұрын
No, it doesn’t. It just makes it a few seconds longer to pick now I will say this in KW1 lishi if you use a number seven Kwikset pin in your cylinder the pick cannot pick a number seven because the number seven when you insert the pick into the cylinder it goes past the sheer line, pretty cool really highly suggest. Use that brand and that size of pen. For a.Kwikset lock.

SC1 & SC4 are for the Schlage “C” keyway whereas the SC20 is the Schlage “L” all section key and work in C, CE, E, EF, F, FG, & G keyways; that’s why the SC20 is so thin. If you don’t work with Schlage keyways outside of the C, which is far and away the most common, then you don’t need an SC20. Also you can usually use 6 pin Lishi’s in 5 pin locks either on their own or with a spacer. Also Beat are a tip stop key and PIN numbers are reversed from traditional bow stop keys so if you’re using the 7 pin in a 6 pin lock, which will work, just remember don’t try to pick space 7 in a 6 pin lock. Also Best is also only for the “A” keyway which is a small portion of Best keyways of which there are a lot.

So what are you saying? Don’t get the lishi for the A flavor 99% of the best cylinders are A i’m just saying for what it’s worth it be crazy not to have it. I mean, just plain Ludacris laughing stock crazy not to own it so what are you saying? Don’t get it it’s so cheap. It’s so wonderful. Why wouldn’t you it’s spectacular so you’ll spend all day playing around with those other picks, I’d take a drill out and just blast through it. I wouldn’t really mess with anything. Thats not a flavor A They’re only 12 bucks apiece. Who cares about picking them anyway then you get a job which is what you want anyway so what are you saying don’t buy the A pick I don’t get it

@@libertarian1637 Sounds like you haven’t used Lishi that much The SC20 is by far the best pick for the Schlage cylinders. It just picked so much easier than the rest.

@@libertarian1637 you have to get these Lishi picks and then tell me what you think it’s obvious you don’t own them

why waste so much time cutting off a master lock? I mean if they wanted to make them more difficult to open they should just add a thumb turn on them.

They’re one of the largest sellers in the United States. They’re quite literally everywhere they’re inexpensive, but what do you mean thumb term? I don’t quite understand this. Could you please explain it to me a little bit interested?

@@doorandlocktips they are saying it would take longer to cut than pick, and they should just add a thumb turn which unlocks it without the key as they are useless locks. At least that's what I got from the comment.
