I've used my Lishi Y11 and Y13 in wafer locks and they work just fine. They work in both clockwise and counter clockwise tension. Makes cutting a new key so much easier than decoding it by looking down the "unlocked" picked keyway. Give it a try sometime.

Does the little pins that come in a rekey kit labeled "anti pick" pins keep tools like this from working?
@doorandlocktips2 ай бұрын
No, it doesn’t. It just makes it a few seconds longer to pick now I will say this in KW1 lishi if you use a number seven Kwikset pin in your cylinder the pick cannot pick a number seven because the number seven when you insert the pick into the cylinder it goes past the sheer line, pretty cool really highly suggest. Use that brand and that size of pen. For a.Kwikset lock.

SC1 & SC4 are for the Schlage “C” keyway whereas the SC20 is the Schlage “L” all section key and work in C, CE, E, EF, F, FG, & G keyways; that’s why the SC20 is so thin. If you don’t work with Schlage keyways outside of the C, which is far and away the most common, then you don’t need an SC20. Also you can usually use 6 pin Lishi’s in 5 pin locks either on their own or with a spacer. Also Beat are a tip stop key and PIN numbers are reversed from traditional bow stop keys so if you’re using the 7 pin in a 6 pin lock, which will work, just remember don’t try to pick space 7 in a 6 pin lock. Also Best is also only for the “A” keyway which is a small portion of Best keyways of which there are a lot.
