There's even a white guy that was big in Amapiano scene in South Africa and across Africa until he passed away last year... His name is Costa Titich...he even did a collaboration with Akon ...check out his popular songs called Big Flexa, Areyeng , MA Gang and Nkalakatha. You will be shocked at how well he can dance too

You're confidently giving out wrong information, kwaito derived from house. Not what you're saying.

The founders of house in SA all give props to the originators. Majority of the house songs we grew up listening to were American.

@TheeDopeGuy the problem with the South African music industry, it’s full of gatekeepers and it’s very money driven, one thing that Soweto managed to do is to make it a clean genre, because of the political affiliation that comes with being from Soweto, so in all general truth amapiano is for all South Africans, but the raw amapiano is most definitely from the Eastrand,(MFR Souls) Alexandra(Kabza De Small) and Pretoria( Jazzi Disciples) this are the true originators of AMAPIANO DANKO!!!

@TheeDopeGuy this documentary is not the true reflection of how Amapiano was started, Amapiano doesn’t originate from Soweto,as matter of fact, ampiono originally comes the eastrand side of South Africa and a hood

It’s an Injustice to do an amapiano documentary and to not have this artists, that I previously mentioned on my previous comment it’s really heartbreaking for us to watch such documentaries and not see the right people get given their flowers😭😭😭
