@@DavidWesley if I can make a suggestion, I think I know something that could help you glorify God with your music even more. There’s a website called the Berean test which evaluates worship songs based on scripture, much as the Bereans tested pause message by going to the old testament to see if it was accurate/taught there. I would suggest that going forward, whenever you have an idea for a song that you want to cover, see if the Berean test has done a piece on it, or perhaps, even request it on the site (or however, it works). That way, you’ll be doing songs that best glorify God. I know I suggested Days of Elijah for the medley, but I recently checked it on the brain test, and it didn’t score super well. But something like our God by Chris Tomlin or shout to the Lord by Hillsong scored 10 out of 10 or close. I definitely recommend you check it out. God bless you and your family and ministry.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have different standards for what I might do in a church service vs a video (i.e. more strict). You do have to watch out for the biases of the people doing the evaluations of songs, because some will come down hard on secondary issues and really muddy the waters without helping at all.
