All the dances in the Burnice demo are meme/movie/music video references, including things like Gangnam style, Serbian dancing lady, brazilian dancing dog vine, etc.

Don’t forget Conicidance by Handsome Dancer. The shot of the 2 dudes looking at each other before breaking it down are directly inspired by that. They’re even wearing similarly colored clothes.

There are people in this city who enjoy sitting and/or sleeping atop telephone poles; as Yanagi's chief is one of those people it makes sense for her to be inquiring of others while looking for her chief. It was also possible her chief could have been sleeping inside a random box. As her chief is capable and inclined to wander anywhere in the city (including inside a Hollow, where normally you don't linger and don't go alone) she could have been ANYWHERE. Burnice has technically been out weeks before her demo (you couldn't pull her but the game lends her to you for story purposes), so most of the players already knew about her. (Lyrics: "You know I'm the real deal, what's left to say...") She cannot be forced into regularly being responsible (whereas Caesar is kind of burdened with playing the hero and leader, Lucy is kind of forced into being the smart one, Piper into being the reliable grandmotherly background character, and Lighter has embraced his new freedom to be a comically serious "cool guy the plot does not revolve around") and by choice has become a hypersocial gremlin. Bartending is simply a way to accomplish that. If you want more of the song, the creators of this video understood the assignment and also released the one hour dance loop themselves. The group you saw on the car were some of the very first playable characters and a lot of the early story revolves around them, so again an "everybody knows these people" reference. They're officially an odd job agency called Gentle House, but some aggrieved person nicknamed them the Cunning Hares: the group's leader Nicole saw a good thing and now pushes the new informal name as much as possible.

ZZZ demos and teasers are always goofy and fun, you should watch some cutscenes if ur not gonna play the game, they have even better animations

nah i dont think yanagi is an airhead, miyabi being in the most randomest of places like brooding on top of a telephone pole seems pretty in character i think. i imagine yanagi is probably the sane person of the group

Bernice is a crossover character. Her VA, designer, song writer and animator are all staff at PeroPero. She's basically an on-loan mascot and I am ALL here for it.

I play F2P Honkai Star Rail not ZZZ, but some of these trailers are really fun. Burnice’s trailer is so stupid, but so addicting too. These trailers are so good at giving you a look into their personality. Hoyoverse has a marketing team that is owning gacha right now. They are so good at advertising. That’s how they make so much money. Many people will whale to pull these characters because of how well they market them.

Dunno if anyone has brought it up to you already, but the Honkai 3 X Star Rail concept trailer came out recently and it's downright amazing. It has more animation than some entire seasons of anime and very annoyingly, has more passion put into it than nearly every Hi3 or HSR trailer I can think of O:

Animation is great, unfortunately the mid-ass English voice acting leaves a bit to be desired. Would've been better off watching the Japanese with English subs. Yanagi is extremely mid in English, wtf. Was she even trying? WTF was the director doing?
