You are probably just like many of us Christians in the last of the church age (Laodicea). WE are living with the apostacy of the church (especially in America). Whenever people abandon the Christian faith, we say they have committed apostacy (or falling away). The Apostate church is what allows the Anti-Christ to rise to power. The Apostate church is neither hot nor cold. The Apostate church does not have a burning zeal for Jesus and his Word. They are lukewarm Christians. And you are correct to be concerned about that because in Revelation 3:16 Jesus says that he will spew them out of his mouth. Revelation chapter 3 versus 14-22 describe the state of the church today (with exceptions). So if it feels like that all around you, welcome to the club. Here is the breakthrough that I discovered as I wrestled with the same issue that you posted. There is a separation between faith and works. You must separate them in your mind to get clear of this fear. If you have faith, then you are saved. Period. But we know in our spirit that faith without works is dead, and we live in an apostate church now. So the works are not being done at least through the church. So we can't rely on the church to get a group together to go out and do works. So it becomes up to us individually to seek out where God wants us now. He will give you a specific mission field that is related to your surroundings and your talents. You have to become the Paul Revere of the Christian world to let people around you know that the King is coming. Shout it from the streets so to speak. Tell Christians and non-Christians. We have to wake people up now because the time is at hand. Your "works" is what are judged at the Bema seat of Christ. So the very fact that you are standing at the Bema seat in heaven is testament that you made it. The fear should melt away because you are in his presence. There is no condemnation at the Bema seat. Christ will look at the works that you did on earth (not your sins, those are already forgiven). He will judge and weigh them. Some will burn up, some will survive his assessment. The works that survive the fire of God will be rewarded. This is what determines the type of crown you receive and whether you have additional jewels on the crown. When Christ hands you your crown he will say "well done, though good and faithful servant." Your faith saves you and gets you to heaven. Your works are how proud you will be when you stand before the Bema seat as what you did survives the test of fire and is rewarded for it. As soon as I separated this concept in the scripture, I realized my confidence in Christ again, and now I look forward to pointing people to Jesus again. The harvest field is out there and only a few workers. Press on to the finish line. We only have a few years left.

I would urge you to do a study from Pastors Jack Hibbs or John Mac Arthur or Tom Hughs which will show you accurately the time table of events. You can’t take one word pull it out of scripture and make it mean one thing in all situations. After Rev 3 the church is not mentioned again. You read about the martrytered saints waiting for the trib to end but God tells them to wait until the last of the saints come in. Those are the ones who died in the tribulation. Those are not of the church age. The church God said are not appointed for wrath. Why would God be angry at the church when Christ died for her? When Paul speaks again to the Thessalonians he says to them they were taught before about escaping from His wrath. So read both books of Thessalonians. Also in this place “The Day of the Lord is referring to AFTER or at the end of the trib as is also mentioned in Thessalonians. Also using reason and good sense there are no instructions on how to dodge the Antichrists edicts etc. there are no instructions at all how to liv, how to hide, nothing. You don’t see that anywhere. Why? The church is gone. The tribulation is all about judgement on the ones who refused to trust in God and man’s evil. If we say we have to go thru it and be hit with Gods wrath then why did Christ die for us taking the wrath of God on Himself? It if doesn’t make sense it’s because it’s nonsense I heard one pastor say. Go to “ gracetoyou.org) “ look up studies on rev and listen to some excellent teaching. This book gave me more understanding of God than any other. God said we would be blessed if we read it.

It can be said with confidence that the material meaning of the text you use can very well be interpreted in the spiritual sense. In other words, being Israel as a nation holds no special place in the heart of God since their final rejection as a people so happened 2000 years ago, Deu.28:58-68 & Mt.21:43, it is the rest of the world of non-Israeli people as a whole being referred to... as the rest of this passage points this out, are the objects of the love of God. It is the elect of God... both Jews and Gentiles... of whom the prophecies are directed, not the material world but the spiritual world, as in Jn.3:16.

Maybe you misunderstood Genesis 12:1-3. Or maybe you misunderstood Genesis 15:8-21. Perhaps you missed the detail in verse 17 and didn't understand what God did with the covenant between Him and Abram. The ritual of the time was that each half of the animal represented the two parties. Both parties would state the terms of the covenant as an oath. Then they would walk between the animals that had been slain and laid opposite of each other. Big secret- Abram was asleep. It was only the Lord who walked between the animals, thus modifying the covenant from two-way to one-way. It's really cool when you understand the Bible correctly. That way you can preach the correct message to people. And you don't get spun into a yarn of deception that the world really wants you to be in.

Abraham is the mentioned in Gal.3:8,9 as the "faithful" of which anyone, Jew or Gentile is not automatically faithful and redeemed as you suggest. No one is redeemed because of his linage to Abraham, Jn.1:12,13. Abram was a Gentile when all these quotes you provide hope to change the status of the modern day Israeli. God gave Abram the land in the passages of Gen.15... not some kind special place among mankind where unbelievers have the same blessings as the true believers in Christ. You deny Mt.21:43, so be it.

That is correct. The most prominent church in modern times is the church of Laodicea. Ironically it is the last one in the order of 7 in Revelation. I wonder if that is a coincidence. The church goes apostate in the very end. The remnant of Christians who remain get raptured, and then the world is stuck with fake Christians and a growing group of people who want to see "Christians" killed. No that couldn't happen. Now all those left behind have a choice to identify as Christian and give their life, or convert to the beast system.

That's right - the bible that has mistakes, man-made edits ands deletions, legends, mythology, and just plain unsupported claims. So when you start out with an error the results have to be suspect. And if you're discussing Israel, it's history goes way farther back than 1947. Try Biblical times. And yet the "end" didn't happen. With all that, there's plenty to "deny."

A bible without concordance is worth as much as toilet paper. Jesus never said "hell", He said "gehenna" and "hades", and these are two different places wrongly translated as "hell". The bibles may not have been changed but almost all of them have translation errors. That's why there's so many bible translations and so many branches of christianity. Christians are not believers. Do NOT join any christian church. Study bible with concordance on your own. According to the gospel of Paul, believers in Christ will believe in His Death for our sins and in His Resurrection. Christians don't believe ANY of that. Seems like they do, they say they do. But they believe in human free will - which negates Christ dying for sin. They believe you have to eliminate your own sins by believing in Christ. It's a direct contradiction. They don't believe Christ died, they believe in the Trinity, so they believe Christ is God. And we know God can't die so Christ didn't die - so they have to say His body died. So they deny the death of Christ. And since they don't believe in the death of Christ, they also can't believe in His Resurrection. They don't believe in Christ, they believe in their belief in Christ. There's a lot of bible quotes christians never heard of and when they read them they simply don't believe what they read, for example: 1 Timothy 4:10. I've learned it all from Martin Zender but there are others who understand it too, like Scott Hicko or Steve Hill.
