Yes, also my favourite place in Tenerife. I went there on a short hiking trip when I was visiting a friend in Santa Cruz. I just walked straight out of his apartment and in no time I was in the Anaga mountains. But I find that the other islands are better for hiking than Tenerife, so hopefully I'll visit all of them.

Absolutely, we have another video about hiking there. Have a look near Punta del Hidalgo, there is an awesome hike there, less jungle but ridiculous terrain . And then look at doing a loop from Playa de Benijo. That's thee best all around hiking you can do. A bit outside and inside the forest with epic coastal views. Check out hikes leaving from there in all trail. You can park at the beach for free, even in a camper van you can stay the night or just leave it there for the day.
