This is arguably South Africa's deadliest mountain pass. For motorcyclists.

Du Toit's Kloof Pass is not a very popular one for motorcyclists and for good reason.
The road is highly travelled by transport trucks not wanting to pay the toll fee for using the Hugenot Tunnel, which frankly, they should be forced to do. This leaves the road in a horrible condition, which is repaired in a cheap way by the national government vs the provincial one. Quickly patch jobs by barely qualified companies leave the surface full of bumps, ripples, cracks and uneven changes in levels and repairs.
"Fast Boi" motorcyclists who do not realise that their skill will run out before the road does, avoid this pass in general due to the above, in general high wind conditions and sheer drop offs.
I was lucky enogh to ride the pass on a near windless day and get wonderful raw audio of my Triumph Street Triple 675 Rx.

This was a nice video. Don’t know if you know how to rev match but if you can, please incorporate it during your downshifts. It would have made this video much cooler.

@@NicheBurton Years ago I did the pass on my Yamaha TDR 250 2-stroke, then some time back I did it on a KLR 650 and I now want to do it on one of my scooters must just decide 2 or 4-stroke.
