The deepest part was the contrast between the wealthy Asian-American lady in the car and the poor one picking up the can that she threw out of it. Most people are only exposed to one extreme or the other.

Yeah that's really admirable and I super dig that. I felt like there could've been more representation for the specific discriminations beared by other east asians. Like Indians, Lebanese, other brown skin asians, etc. This is really good for a first time piece though I look forward to other stuff you guys dish out

@eekaygames6 жыл бұрын
Parody = an imitation of the style of a particular writer, artist, or genre with deliberate exaggeration for comic effect. keyword there is COMIC effect. this is in no way comical and talks about the struggles of Asian Americans.

is it really necessary to bring up other people who did it as well to justify asian people co-opting black culture? it's like you think have such an infallible argument or something
@Grumpygrumpo6 жыл бұрын
KhMErTRiAd LOL not even just pointing out the hypocrisy
@khmertriad6 жыл бұрын
true, it's not a parody but the point still stands, do asian people always have to co-opt black movements and re-fit it to their own agendas? especially when the struggles featured in the original video were legitimate AND asian people are always silent about the way black folks are treated in america. it's like, wow you don't care about the struggle black people face, but you feel it's necessary to copy them to point out your own struggles.
