Todd said that he didn't want to affect the value of the Batman movie 6-pack boxset. This redeco is also a tribute to the 10" Batman Forever figure by Kenner.

@@RedXPower I saw that but still, could’ve changed something up to make it different such as giving him a wired cape and different accessories. Still would’ve made it unique without seeming “lazy”. Bc tbh, the paint is nice as I mentioned, the black just throws it off even though it is a tribute to a Kenner figure.

To me that isn't an excuse. If he didn't want to devalue the 6pack one, then he could have A: give us the Panther suit or B:make this one with a different shade of blue all the way or even black. Just to be one color, because that grayish black sticks out as a sore thumb. Or he could have put a wire cape plus the accessories. The homage to the Kenner figure just doesn't look good on a modern figure, to me at least. Unless if Todd give us the Panther suit this will be the last thing I buy from McFarlane toys, especially after this and his BvS Batman fiasco

Ive given up on mctodd and his dc crap. I've just gone back to collecting marvel legends as i know theyll atleast be somewhat consistent.

@@Carrion-0409 I’m stuck with this because I’m staying away from Marvel stuff in mass numbers because I already have so much 😅. I’ve only been collecting this line since the very end of November last year and definitely have seen the lazy ways many mentioned.

@collectorempire_km The tipping point for me was the nft stuff. I'm paying the price of a ML for a useless digital item. Don't even get me started on those $30 "collector editions." It's literally just a normal $20 figure with a crappy card stand and maybe an accessory if you're lucky. I really wanted to like dc multiverse, but with all the qc issues, Todd's laziness and lack of caring, and all the scummy FOMO tactics I just can't. Hopefully, in 2026, hasbro will get the DC license and save us.
