I would like to juggest a place. I think you will enjoy the secluded atmosphere at Suan Mok Krung Thep as well. It is near Centrazl Ladprao, near Suan Rot Fai. There is a meditation room in the building. There is a coffee shop. There are places you can sit and chill.

Talat noi is the old days machine parts market thai-chinese owners, now 3rd or 4th gen quit those and turn them to chic cafe. You should try to get in those cafes. Young ppl and content creater visit for photos and review

I think the shop with all the spare oarts also made the transformer "statue." I watched a video a month or so ago about it. It looks familiar, but ive been wrong before, so who knows.
@unfilteredtraveldiaries2 ай бұрын
That makes sense! It seems to be an iconic shop there. There’s even murals with it.
@Johnny1371-12 ай бұрын
@@unfilteredtraveldiaries that's definitely the same shop then. I watch a bunch of car videos about Thailand(plan to move there eventually). So it was cool to see.

Im from the UK living in Thailand and thought that area was really good and interesting so ive no idea why you thought it was 'sick?' 🤔 I learned a lot about the area just wandering around and there was nothing sick about it. There are slums in Bangkok where sickness is a daily occurrence and terrible things happen but i never saw that in this area so im totally baffled by the thumbnail and title? 🤔🤔
@brianjlx20103 ай бұрын
😂😂 I was thinking exactly the same, I was expecting a really sad video of ill people in the slums.

I was just there for most of August. I hope you got a drink at the the chocolate shop- mine was terrific. Talat Noi was a tie for my favorite place, along with the floating market/canal areas just west across the river. Been really enjoying your channel since I found it. Enjoy.

Great Vlog. It is pronounced more "dalad noi" but the first D has a sharp T sound after it so westerners tend to say Talat noi. Dalad/talat however you want to say it means Market.

dope in oz means dill, none too bright, drongo, so how do you apply that to the street art you enjoyed, confused me.
@pj-vq3by3 ай бұрын
its also used as slang to mean cool or good
@unfilteredtraveldiaries3 ай бұрын
Yes, context is key. “That’s dope” = cool, good etc. Although I’ve actually never heard it used in the way you’re describing, maybe it’s regional slang? I’ve heard “dopey” for dumb/dull.

Sarah, nice job. We'll be in Bangkok in 2 weeks and will go on the Chao Phraya Express Boat. Never been on that. Looks like good vid content for ya! Do the ferry and we'll get your feedback. My notes just copy pasted from my research for boat from Little India to China Town just north. Sorry, sloppy but to the point: 11 cny a stop. little india pier is 22. Si Phraya or 23. Oriental nxt south pier take it north to chinatown 20. pier is Ratchawongse Anyhow, the ferry looks nice. In Bangkok you need some elbow room like parks and water.

And get a crappy little 1 dollar compass. We use it all the time. And smart girl paying with small bills and always having them. Nice. You're a good solo traveller. I did what you're doing when i was like 20, all alone in Mobassa and places like that. I can see you're getting powerful and confident travelling alone. Go girl!
