Jamais vu is the opposite of Deja vu. So instead of feeing like you’ve experienced something before.. now it feels like it’s for the first time, even though you know you’ve experienced it before. You can compare it to falling in love.. then if you’ve fallen in love before.. every time it happens, it feels like you’re experiencing it for the first time.

For what u said around 21:18, actually Jumais Vu wouldn’t have been performed at their regular concert even if corona virus wasn’t a thing lol, cuz it’s from the previous album and they performed songs from Map of the Soul: persona at the Speak Yourself tour. But they did perform Jumais Vu after this interview during t bangbangcon! Along with Respect and Friends

So yes Jamais vu is French for never seen (before) and Déjà Vu means already seen (before). Not sure why they chose to call it like that but I’m touched they used a French title ^-^

Jamais Vu was the song that I listened the most in 2019, and I realized when Spotify did that thing about your fav song, fav artist, etc. It's a really beautiful song, an unexpected sub-unit that worked so well, the lyrics, the instrumentation, everything is so beautiful 🤧💜

Like other people said in the comment section, the opposite is "déjà vu" : something that has been seen before. We often talk about "une impression de déjà vu" = a sense of déjà vu, i.e. the feeling that what you're living had already happened to you before. For those who could be interested or who can read phonetics : Jamais vu : \ʒa.mɛ\ \vy\ Déjà vu : \deʒa\ \vy\ (sorry for my English, I'm still learning!
