Don’t cut down the daffodils until the leaves turn yellow….that allows the leaves to feed the bulb for next year. It will also allow bigger and stronger flowers each year!

Oh my gosh!! When one of the triplets suddenly jumped into Kyle's arms, I almost teared up and melted!! That was SO precious!! It was kind of a "leap of faith" too, just trusting that Kyle would catch him (her?). That made my day!!! You guys have such an amazing relationship with you goats and goalets! And I know you work on it too and it sure pays off with moments like this!!! ❤🐐❤

You two give me such JOY helping me remember the joy of working in my younger years ❤😊❤. At 80 life is such a struggle. My only joy now is in my happy memories. Jason and Brooke are seeing all of their transplanted flowers surviving too.😊❤😊
@TheCraftydevilSpeaks9 ай бұрын
Daffodil bulbs take a couple of years to really start taking off. Mine were transplanted from my mothers property which I dug up after she past away a few years ago and I knew I was going to have to put the property up for sale. She had tons of them all over the back yard where we could see them the most and I couldn’t take them all, but I also took a bunch of snow drops, crocuses, hyacinths and the most gorgeous iris plants. This will be the 3rd year since I planted them here and already I can tell they are going to be outstanding. A piece of my mom and the home I grew up in is here with me to enjoy every spring now. I finally sold the house (with 11 acres) this past November, which was very hard for me to do but more than I could take care of alone at my age, but the memories of having the animals and huge garden and working the property will always be with me, especially now when I see those beautiful flowers all around my house.

What a nice way to remember your mom each spring.

I did the same thing with the last 50 of my77 years. I was caregiver for my mother for quite a few years and 3 months after mother passed at age 91, my homeless brother moved in. We both got to enjoy the flowers I had planted from our childhood and still today, some 11 years later, are watching the signs of spring.❤

If the daffodils have bulbs, they may go dormant or if transplanted and wilt out, they come back every time. When you move others, if their full plants, just keep damp for couple weeks and they will stand up. Good job by both of you today and everyday. ❤️❤️

I see space for a really nice cabin for y’all to live in!! Rocks save for a fence or a water garden/pond to edge with, then you could sit and enjoy goldfish or koi!! Your daffys need their green leaves to provide nutrients to their bulbs to grow bigger for next year. So don’t mow them off! Often people will let them die back and turn brown, then you could trim them back.
