I just saw them perform live this past Monday night and they absolutely KILLED it!! They are not only fantastic musicians, but also really good people. That small drum is called a dhol and the one who plays it is called a dholi. **Things I've learned since following Bloodywood... LOL More Bloodywood tracks to enjoy... They are an amazing band. Their beautiful combination of traditional instruments is just amazing! They mainly focus on social issues. Do check out more of them. Also, yes, bloodywood is a play on the word Bollywood. Bollywood(Hindi language film industry) is one of the "woods" in the Indian film industry. There are many, at least 10 "woods" inside the Indian film industry representing many states and languages. For eg, If you have heard of or come across RRR, that's "Tollywood"(Telugu language film industry) of the Indian film industry.

We are one big family... the world, you said. Have you heard of Indian concept of 'VASUDAIVA KUTUMBAKAM', It stands for World is one family. Because of such concept, India helped the world with vaccines during COVID. Helped other countries evacuate their citizens during Ukraine, Sudan conflicts, sent men / medication during Turkey / Syria earthquake.
