Actually ppl do see the hardwork that they put in. BTS is usually very open abt their feelings and emotions and most of their journey has been documented for the world to see. They release 'behind the scenes' videos and other contents and their sincerity in doing all this is a major reason for them having such a huge following

Yes, the fact that they do share the “warts and all” of the hard work, is one of the major differences between BTS and others. Not dismissing their music, dance, art etc the fact that Army actually know them makes the bond forever!

Their behind the scenes movies have made me cry. They go on stage and dance even when in agony. The cry back stage when they didnt dance well enough. They collapse to the ground when the stage lift lowers and gasp for air from oxygen cylinders. It's heartbreaking

This comment might be late for you to read but here goes nothing. I’m 26 years old and I can’t even express properly how much they’ve helped me. Their music is serious business for them. They’re genuinely PASSIONATE about it. And for them, their music is the perfect way to express themselves and talk about whatever they want: one’s identity, mental health, societal pressure, feeling lost, life, love, literally everything. And I promise you, if you listen to them seriously and with an open mind, you’ll realize how humble and real they are. How much you’ll feel understood by them. When I became a fan years ago, it was crazy for me to realize that worldwide celebrities face the same issues as me (that might’ve sound like a cliché, but the DEPTH of their lyrics sometimes is CRAZY)… that despite their “status”, we’re all the same. We all feel the same. I’ve never felt this way before towards other artists and I listen to a lot of music and genres. I think that’s why people love them so much. You can feel how real and humble they are through their art. Hope you enjoy this journey!

You really can't go wrong with any part of their 300+ discography. They release songs as a group, as well as having solo projects and subunits such as the rap line or the vocal line. All their studio albums are are really impressive, but personally, I think the live versions are even better. You'll probably appreciate their MV's. They are mini movies. I really, really enjoy your comments, and just your general life outlook and vibe. I hope you keep sharing yourself and your beautiful Himalayans!💜 Side note: some of their songs are steeped in cultural references. While the songs stand just fine on their own, there are explanation videos for us foreigners that deeply enriched my experience, and helped me to truly appreciate the genius of the lyrics, especially the rap songs, with their double and triple entendres.

One of the more intriguing things about BTS that they feed ARMY so so well with content, there are countless of hours of content out there, just their variety show Run BTS has 155+ episode (it's hilarious by the way), and there are travelling shows, staycations, BTS bombs of behind the scenes for their MVs, and yet, the guys are super private. Apart from showing what they advertise we don't know much about their houses, cars or any type of partners. All you will find is rumours. ARMY, most of us at least, try to respect their privacy and trust them to behave correctly, and they never disappoint. It also helps that their company always prosecutes those who act maliciously towards them. There is tons of fan made content about them, there is even a very well done professionally made by a fan series of documentaries Rise of Bangtan. To date it's the most comprehensive and insightful look into BTS. Don't know which song to recommend. They are too versatile. Try the Festa 2021 first and see what songs you want to dive into after listening to all the snippets. Over 400+ songs and they don't have a bad one 💜

BTS makes these power moves because it's what they stand for, sincerity, love and helping others less fortunate. Some of the member grew up struggling financially, I mean it wasn't an easy journey for any of them really. They dedicated themselves to their group, their music, and their fans for so many years and in the beginning they weren't sure they would make it. They know what it's like and they always talk about giving back, mostly about their fans who got them to where they are today. It's always been hardwork and perseverance for BTS and I really admire them and look up to them for those things and many more reasons. 💜

24:03 they don't and haven't show us everything behind the scenes, their blood sweat and tears. Usually we just see the end product like the music or live preformance or concert. However, there are a lot of times that they DO show us, they spend a lot of time in a front of a camera and have shown us their journey and processes often. If it's not physically on video they talk about it with us on live streams or chat with us on their own app Weverse. They really endorse connection between artist and fans. It's a close connection, we feel like we've gone on this journey ourselves. I think that's why a lot of people say they love BTS for their sincerity. BTS themselves picture BTS and ARMY walking up this mountain holding hands, the member Suga said those in a concert years ago. I feel like a lot of people would agree that we feel close to them because we can try to understand and relate to the members. Honestly I feel like I have a one-sided friendship with BTS, but in a positive way. I can't imagine how ARMY who knew them since 2013 feel if I feel this way because I've only been ARMY since 2018. Anyways, that was long, thank you so much for your own sincerity, you seem like a down to earth guy who's attentive, caring, honest, and genuine. We purple you 💜

I enjoyed your reaction I am 64 my granddaughters introduced me to BTS. My daughter and granddaughters we all travel together to see them when they have concerts in USA. They have strengthened the bond between us and their music and work ethic has much influence on my granddaughters so much that their management on their jobs has complimented them. The song Dope inspired them to do better in school and they graduated with high honors. As for myself the song Epiphany showed me that I needed to work on loving myself. Their music will inspire you to be the best version of yourself. Looking forward to your journey 💜

I really liked your reaction and what you had to say about them. I just wanted to say that oustider people might only see the glamorous side of their celebrity life but not ARMY : one of the things that made me become an fan is the connexion there is between BTS and Armys, they don't share everything of course, but they share so much of their lives, joys and struggles. They don't hesitate to speak about their mental health states or how exhausted they can be at times, weither it's in their music or in lives streamings where they chat with the fans. It's a bond I've nerver see in any other fandom. When the video said they started a campaign called 'Love Yourself' with Unicef, it wasn't just a random title they chose because it sounded nice : they really went through it all with us and shared the process of how we could acheive loving ourselves together. They are the representation of hard work and determination: they never fail to thank the fans for their support but we know how hard they've worked behind the scene to get to this level. They are not perfect but they are humble, funny and genuine, just as they were in their debut 10 years ago ^^ i really hope you'll react to more BTS 🤗

You are absolutely correct about Bang Shihyuk being like a father figure who wants only the best for the boys. You will see him mentioned as Bang PD or Bang PD-nim (meaning producer {PD) and nim is a term of respect). BTS would not be BTS without Bang PD. I hope you take the time to watch a few of the other guides, such as the one put together this year by Taylor. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nqa5kKx_md2Nhrs Enjoy your journey. Unlike western artists that don't show their struggles and hard work, BTS lay it out bare. They open up to armies all the time with content for us that show the realities of qhat they go through- not all bad of course They have Burn the Stage which is a docuseries that goes on tour with them and shows their preparations for their concerts, the difficulties they face and mental hardships They pretty much have a camera on them 24/7 following them everywhere they go- these docuseries really show you how much they put into their performances( pretty much collapsing backstage or fainting from overworking or needing oxygen) Bring The Soul is the same type of docuseries and Break The Silence as well. They wanted to show their fans that they do argue and have tough times. They have Bangtan Bombs which are clips and behind the scenes content Bon voyage which is basically vlogging as they go for trips around the world together as a group and have a budget and have to make decisions on their own and VLIVE which is a live streaming platform where they connect with fans live to talk about their thoughts . So they do their best to share as much as they can with Armies about their lives.

BTS has over 350 release publish songs! Probably another 150 to 200 unreleased songs! Like the video said they debuted on June 13th, 2013, so on June 13th, 2022, they celebrated 9 years as a group after debut. But the first member of BTS REM who is the main rapper and leader of BTS. Find with big hit entertainment now known as HYBE labels corporation back in 2009/10. From then until 2013 when they debuted as a group each member auditioned separately and was signed to big hit entertainment. Then they all went through periods of training improving their singing and rapping skills and other aspects like dancing and performing. This is basically the routine that all K pop route go through it's the way the Korean music industry works. one member was in college studying to be an actor. He was spotted by a big hit talent scout as he was getting off of a bus. Based on his looks alone they asked him to come to their office and audition. Really don't know what type of audition he could have done because he wasn't a singer, and he wasn't a dancer he was training to be an actor. He actually auditioned as an actor. They saw his potential though and he started from zero and learned to sing and dance. Now he is said to have a silver voice. Another member started as a street dancer when he was 10 years old his background and career aspirations were to be a dancer. You assigned on as a dancer choreographer became the dance leader of BTS. He had no real background in the music industry but now he is a lead rapper and a sub vocalist singing and rapping. One member had aspirations of becoming a singer musician and entertainer. But his family were poor farmers! One day being a good friend, he accompanied a friend two auditions being held buy big hit entertainment in their hometown. When a member of big hit staff saw him based on only his looks, they encouraged him to audition also. So, he agreed to and he Fang rat danced play the saxophone and did some acting. A few days later he got a phone call and discovered that he was the only one from the auditions there had moved on to the next level of semifinal auditions. Not even his friend that he had originally accompanied had made it through the auditions!

If you want to dive into their discography but don't know where to start I recommend the video "BTS Festa 2021" it's a live preformance of multiple of their songs, kind of like the tiny desk concert, but it goes by album from their early days to recent releases. They preform a snippet of a song and mix it all together. I recommend this to you so you can see their diverse discography without truly spoiling the songs, since it's only a snippet. They make music of many genres, from pop to EDM to rap to Latin pop... they really like to explore their sound and not stick to one thing.

N their latest concert on october 2022 BTS Yet to Come in Busan. This concert was kinda farewell party to Army as they are going for mandatory military service, an temporarily they will not work as a group n more focus on solo work till to reunite again in 2025 after completing the duty. The concert with 100,000 tickects was free concert n it was my first ever BTS concert. I wish you can watch n react to it as well. Thanks for the reaction~~~

Two from previous years and now for this Grammy they got three: The Best Music Video for Yet to Come and then two with Coldplay - Pop Duo/Group Performance for My Universe and Album of the Year as part of Coldplay's Music of the Spheres (plus for that album, the rappes in BTS are listed individually too, as they contributed with lyrics).

The introductory video by Taylor goes into the 7 members and what they are most known for. For music videos to start with, I'd suggest Mic Drop, Black Swan, and Fake Love, but there are so, so many more. A more recent song called "Run BTS" is a favorite of mine, but there is no MV for that. There is a Live of Mic Drop and Run BTS together on BangtanTV channel, and then recently on same channel the dance practice video was posted. I think better to start with MV's with English subs turned on before going to the lives.

So you know ... Record Labels in the US are not comparable to Entertainment Companies in Korea. Entertainment companies have an enormous staff (by Western standards) that include producers, composers, stylists, trainers, choreographers, clerical staff, etc. I remember in 2017 when BTS first went to the BBMAs, backstage staff were amazed at their entourage. (Big Hit, a small co, at that time, closed shop and brought all the staff (35 or so) to the US to support the boys. In fact, in Kpop, artists might train under the company for years before they get to debut.

Once u watch their story and get their individual selves figured out, you should start with songs that show how versatile they are. Maybe a song from each genre? I would start with trying to learn their names. For me what helped was pointing out features that stick out of each member and attributing it to them. RM is easy to point out. He is fluent in english and a leader/rapper. He is hard to miss. Jimin is very feminine looking and his voice is soft and somewhat feminine. Very angelic. Jhope has a longer face and always has a smile to his face. His laugh is so noticeble and he is a great dancer/rapper/singer. Suga is quiet and intimidating but he is sweet. V's smile is rectangled and his voice is quite deep. Jin is handsome and he isn't afraid to say so. Jungkook is lead vocalist his eyes are big and he has a beautiful voice that also sounds angelic but very different from Jimin's. Those were a few things that helped me in my journey of getting familiar with Bts. I hope they were at least a bit helpful.

It’ll give you a deeper dive into how the group was formed and also each individual members and their role. All of the music used in the video is their own music as well. For song recommendations I’ll recommend the most popular as their discography is 300+ songs and no 2 are alike. They’ve hit almost every genre so it just depends on what you like. -Blood Sweat and Tears -Magic Shop live performance (the English subs are there) -Fire -Run BTS Live in Busan -Dope -Idol -On -Mic Drop I also highly recommend live performance since they’re on another level -MMA 2019 -MMA 2018 -medley at the Tokyo dome

We see the hard work, because they show us. Obviously not all of it and they were also very open about the fact that they can't tell us everything, but they share what they can, including the hard parts. On the other hand, the glamour part... they don't really get into that much. They obviously have a lot of money and fame and they don't hide that necessarily, but they also don't flaunt that very much. If they do show off something that costs a lot of money, it's usually just because they're excited about it. It's like when you buy something that makes you happy and you can't wait to show it to others. But then you see Jungkook having his phone patched up with a ducktape because he doesn't want to get a new one or you see them cheating and betraying each other in games for a bag of cheap chips 😂. When you talked about how people see the glamour and not the hard work, it actually made me think and I was surprised myself that I struggled to remember when they actually showed us the glamour part aside from maybe like tv appearances where they put on a serious face (most of the time at least 😆). I think it's part of why people love them so much. A lot of big celebrities can struggle with relating to other people, because they are removed from reality. BTS managed to keep themselves down to earth and never forgot where they came from and how much they struggled to get what they have now. We hear from backup dancers and staff and other people that worked with them how much they put into their work and how humble they are in real life. That they still practice over and over so every aspect of the performance is perfect and even sometimes stay behind after other people leave to practice more.

I rly appreciate you take the time to learn abt their background first before diving into their music. I was greatly entertained 💜 My suggestion: BTS Festa Room live 2021 (it's a medley and therefore perfect as an introduction into their vast and diverse discography). Also: 17:24 awwwww hiiii 😻

I recommend you to go first their Korean song, not English song. (They have three full-english songs, and those songs are kinda poppy bc they were released during pandemic and BTS wanted to give only happy vibe to the world in that period💜) Let's go to "On(Kinetic manifesto film)"! It's a nice choice to check their dance, rap and vocal!

Since you’re an actor, you may be interested in learning about the BU (Bangtan Universe), which is a storyline that runs through various sources like select MVs, etc. I also saw that folks have already suggested A Guide to BTS by Taylor which is, indeed, a great source to learn about the seven members in more detail. And watching any live performance from one of their concerts is a real treat - especially their latest one which is Yet To Come concert in Busan.

Their discography is insane with different genres. But since you said you're partial to rap/rnb, then you can try the Cyphers (1-4), Tear, UGH, Ddaeng, or any of RM, Agust D (Suga) and J-Hope's solo albums/mixtapes. For rnb, a lot of their earlier songs have that influence, eg. House of Cards, Tomorrow, Hold Me Tight. Stigma, Singularity, Serendipity, Home, My Time (the last 5 are member's solo songs)

If you want even a bit more of context just before you dive in their music, i'd suggest you check out too the video "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: The Story of BTS (2022 update)", by the Rice Squad. They give a bit of info about the members backgrounds and provide a general overview of their career and discography so far (without spoilers), and i think it's great as an introduction before going deeper into the rabbit hole!! :D

Hello, glad you did that one first because it is a nice resume of who is BTS and it is not too overwhelming considering you have only watched their tiny desk concert. BTS can't be dissociated from Army. They both grow together and support each others. We are living in a social media Era and BTS has been clever to communicate though those media to get close with their fans. Because as it is said in the documentary big medias like TV shows and even radio didn't/still don't support BTS, it is even more accurate outside of Korea. That's why lot of non korean nowadays don't understand why BTS is so huge without TV Time and radio Time. And the majority of this people who don't understand this success won't try to make some research of course. But it is not difficult to do, see you ve just watched one of BTS guide and you already start to understand why they are so big. People need to be more open minded, bit curious and not just with prejudices about BTS : oh it is a boy band for young screaming girls it is not for me. I don't know if you wanna hear more of their work first before deep diving into their personality, their achievements... You need to do your own pace even if you asked for contents to watch at some points you won't be able to satisfy everybody needs. So if you feel to listen to more of their work i am sure some Army will or gave you already a list. If you prefer to know them better first free to you to keep watching some BTS guides (Taylor's one or Xceleste's one). Don't rush they have years of contents !!!! Don't go BTS' burnout 😅 Army is here to guide you through this journey so keep enjoying. Also i like the fact that you put your own imputs from your personal experience in the entertaining/movie industry. In a way it shows that you genuinly understand what they are going through. Ty 💜

Taylor's guide goes into the individuals more, how they joined and their talents. There are so many good songs but I agree with another comment that festa Room Live 2021 is a good start as it is a medley of sections of B side songs through the years and showcases their diverse music. Loved your first 2 reactions to BTS and can't wait fir more. 50 year old ARMY from UK here. 💜

Hi. I appreciate your acknowledgement of the age thing. I made one of those comments. I admire your willingness to head dive into the rabbit hole. You won't regret it. BTS currently have 6 music videos with over a billion views with a 7th closing in. V (Kim Taehyung) acted in Hwarang, a period piece K-drama in 2015. He and Jin did a duet for the OST. Since you are an actor, I thought I would mention it. I have subscribed and I am looking forward to a lot more reactions. 💜

I love this intro. I also recomend the one by Taylor. Watching this guide will help you a lot to know them better and understand their journey. If you like to learn more about their individual talents and background, the Taylor´s guide is fantastic. BTS has many behind the scenes videos, shows, streams and that´s why tehy connected so much with ARMY. We have seen their hard work and struggles. There is a movie or documentary called Burn the stage, another called The Rise of Bangtan where you can see their hard work. They are such an inspiration. An I love them cause they are such performers but also so much funny, too.

It's kind of crazy that this video is I think like two or three years old, so if you think they're big after watching this, rest assured that this is nothing 😆. I'm sure, people have been recommending it left and right, but A Guide to BTS Members: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor is probably the most up to date as of May of this year and even since that video there have been huge things happening. Still, I highly recommend that video. It focuses on the individual members and is more in depth. It's a bit longer, but it's definitely worth it and it might give you tips on what to watch next. Or based on your reaction what to recommend you next 💜

Jin explained (while tipsy) how their group works is b/c everyone puts their ego to the side if the decision is not best for the group. If there's a song/dance they've been working on, they have solo projects they release. Their journey is so authentically well documented by themselves and the company, they allow us to hear and see their mental/physical struggles. Jin even explained on a recent Live the complicated decisions, feelings, and backlash they had on postponing enlisting in the military, although the company didn't want him say anything.

Hola, me encantó tu reacción.

They comecack as a group in 2025... But there are a variety of things that can be seen about them, for example, their reality shows, performances, theories, music videos and of course their variety show called RUN BTS, it's legend.... Sorry for my english, but i really wanna say this

Hey thanks here for the reaction!! Appreciate the open-mindedness here! If you like Harry Mack then you can ease your way into BTS with songs from the rappers! Maybe start off with their Outro:Tear performance in Wembley (version with eng subs) Or more recent "Ugh" and "Cypher pt.3" performance live in their Yet to Come concert in Busan (the channel Enjoy BTS More provides videos of these performances with captions). They performed both songs back to back so would suggest to check out the ugh and Cypher 3 back to back as well for this specific performance. The energy is mad. For a more general introduction to BTS I'd recommend: - Taylor guide to BTS (get background info on each of them) - "Run BTS" live performance in Busan up on their Bangtantv KZbin channel. I think this song encapsulates the essence of BTS quite well (from the lyrics to the music to the performance aspect) and it's recent -Festa 2021 Room live : it's a medley that brushes through their catalog chronologically in 10 min, fun watch and you get just a glimpse of their evolution and diversity of genres. If you ever want to take a deeper dive into their lyrics the website doolset provides I believe the most accurate translations with annotations and context! Welcome in this journey! If you like rap, lyricsm, wordplay, thought-provoking concepts, or just inspiring stories and impactful performances then I think you'll enjoy tagging along, get beyond what ppl think BTS is and once you give it a fair shot it's just full of surprises! Keep it genuine as you do, don't assume keep that curious and open mind, ask all the questions if you don't understand something and we'll answer! Much love💜

Hi! First time to your channel, but I'll be back. It's always nice to see someone giving honest reactions to our boys. Welcome to the rabbit hole! I think you'll have fun here. I agree with the suggestion for the Taylor video. I think a lot of credit needs to go to Bang PD. He had the vision to bring these boys - now men - together, casting not just for talent but also for character. He's a genius in how he handled his artists, and he broke the mold in kpop. The guys love him, and he loves them. It's a rare relationship in kpop for the artists and the CEO to be so close. BTS doesn't hesitate to clown Bang PD, and he's a great sport about it. He's a father figure for them. (I just feel really strongly that Bang PD doesn't get enough love.) I love your cat! He's beautiful.
