My first bike is a sport cruiser. Love it for sure. Finally got a chance to ride sport bikes last year when the Kawasaki demo truck came by my area. They are sooooo much fun. I fell in love with the Z900. Such a smooth engine, plenty of power but not over bearing. The Ninja 600 was a blast as well. I really want to try some Yammies this year.

Yeah MB, for me everything on two wheels is fun. So, it does not matter what bike you riding or work on in the garage (I love your garage videos). Everything on two wheels, big or small is interesting. Hm, one more kind of "point of view". Ladies thoughts of bikes are different from men sometimes, so that gives me another perspective. I'm an older rider who has been on two wheels for 45 years now, but I still wanna learn!!😁 Big thanks Heather!!

I have the exact same bike and love it, but getting older and I really want something I can be more comfortable on AND go long distance. I rode my R3 up I95 to St. Mary’s GA and it took me about 2.5 hours from the house and it was ok but I need more comfort. Lol

A motorcycle for every mood, I know I would need 3 or 4 at least, if I had the money for it. Sports bikes are not and never really were my thing but you float your own boat. Harley's are also not my thing. But a) being without a bike sucks, b) being in the NE in winter sucks for riding and c) like an ex smoker sniffing around current smokers, I watch youtube videos of people like you having fun and don't really care what you ride, to sustain me. (thanks by the way). I've looked at the ride share sites and there are a few bikes being rented out locally but nothing I'm really curious about. I definitely see it as a great service though. Glad to see you are having fun and making the best of your NY/GA life.

I had a 2006 Yamaha FZ 6 Rented in Florida while I was Trucking . I was planning to take my 34 hour re-set break and rent a Motorcycle and look up Shade Tree Surgeon and other friends in FL. My Boss booked Load for me so I had to cancel my rental even though the load got cancelled too. A Mother Later I rented a Triumph Tiger 1200 from Windy City International in St Charles IL. They are a Mega Dealer in the Chicago area. They had Harleys and Triumphs in the same building. Harley does not allow this, but this CO is so Big that HD dares not take them to Court thus they do it anyway . It was misting out and raining a little .. Thus I could not Demo a Live Wire while I was there.. I bought a Triumph rain coat and pants.. What a Joke they are it's a good thing they were on sale 40% off they were still priced over what they were really worth .. I have a really good rain suit but did not have it with me in the Truck .

Great weather for riding there. Yeah looks like a fun / nimble sports bike. Seems like though it has a high rpm even in high gears, but I guess that's how that model is. How's the cool little yellow fan spinning around lol. Maybe get one of those on your Harley. Looks like whoever rode it previously dropped it on the left as the end of the clutch lever I see is missing. That would be annoying. I'd suggest to rent a Yamy R6 or a Triumph Triple 600. Ah yes the smelly chicken trucks 🐔 lol

🤣🤣"youse guys" 🤣🤣. i would love a 300 to 500 or 650 size bike. they just dont fit me very well. and the ones that i have seen dont have cruise control. there is a couple of newly released bikes that do have it though, but new bike means new bike price lol. i was really looking at the KTM 390 ADV. i could maybe just use it as a town bike and not get cramped on it too fast maybe. the Honda CRF 300 l and rally looks appealing too. those 2 i could fit on for a bit i think. i started out on dirtbikes. they wouldnt be very fun on the highway though. not sure if they still make it or not but there was a Suzuki GS650F i think it was named. it was a sport touring bike. the bars was up higher , came with hard bags i think. reviewers in bike mags loved it. i wouldnt mind trying one of those one day. you might like a sport touring bike like that one. it would be cool to see what you think of them or a ADV bike. BMW makes a 310 ADV if i remember right and a sportbike. i like seeing people ride different bikes. it helps to get a nice range of opinions . good vid

The real Sport bikes have an uncomfortable riding position for any distance. They really are Track bikes.. The Naked Sport Bikes Normally have an upright riding Position. I bought a 2008 Buell Ulyesess this summer. It is a Sports Touring Bike ... You sit upright .. Mid Controls.. has side cases and a Top Case 1203 CC V-Twin Sportster engine .. the 1203 HD is 74 HP the 1203 Buell is 103 HP.. It wats other Harleys for Lunch Especially in the Twistee's.. It's more solid and more confident than my Yamaha FZ-07.
@MotoBlonde Жыл бұрын
I def agree I couldn’t tour on these - definitely would do that on the harley!

@@MotoBlonde My Buell has a very comfortable seat and a much larger passenger seat than my FZ-07 has. I have a Hawk air pad for my FZ-07 Instead of being able to ride for 3 hours.. I can ride all day with the air pad. I have a Gel pad for the passenger seat. Since I have short arms .. I have a 2" riser angled back . The bars on my FZ-07 are too Narrow the MT-07 has wider bars.. The Buell has wider yet bars like a dirt bike. The stock forks on the FZ-07 are not safe to ride agressiley .. I added Ohlin Cartridges to my bike .. K-Tec Seels them too. I am sure you can buy a used FZ or MT-07 for $4,000.00 I paid $4,500.00 for my 2008 Buell with 15,000 miles on it. It weighs 100# more than my FZ-07. I rode my FZ-07 to Tail of the Dragon last Summer .. when I got there I took 80# of Luggage off then I had a Naked Sport bike to ride. GIVI side cases and Top cases pop off in seconds. I took my large windscreen off too. In 2008 The Buell Thunderstorm 1203 cc engine based on a Sportster was 103 HP the same Year Buell introduced the Halcon 1125 cc Liquid cooled 4 valve head overhead cam engine with 148 HP and it's 65# lighter than the HD engine.. I ran my Buell in the Harley Drags I ran 12.77 @ 110 MPH.. Not really fast but not a slouch either.. I should have learned to ride the rear brake on Lauch instead of slipping the clutch too much to keep from flipping over backwards.. I want to do a Track day but don't have a Leather suit yet. Since I am so short and stocky I need to get one Tailer made from Vason Leathers in Fall River MA. Tail of the Dragon are nice tight low speed curves all second and third gear riding. A great place to learn how to lean. Blue Ridge Parkway you can hit 100 MPH on the straight aways .. they have much worse car and Motorcycle crashes on the Blue Ride Parkway because much higher speeds are involved. Harley Cruisers are so slow on the Dragon that even SUV's pass them or wait for them to pull off. Riding a Cruiser in the Dragon would be truly Humiliating for anyone who thinks their Harley is fast.. I beat mist HD's in stop like drag races with my FZ-07 689 cc's 74 HP because it weighs half as much as a Harley with almost the same HP At the Drag Strip 131 CU inch Baggers were beating my 73 Cubic Inch Buell The Yamaha R-7 has much better inverted forks and is Track Day Capable stock ..
