It was a complete misunderstanding and I'm not condoning what happened but Danny did get out of the car and swung first. When his friend got out the man on the sidewalk was still defending himself. Danny also threw a chair. Also Danny wasn't having a good week with one of his dogs dying so he was already emotionally charged up. Danny is a stand up dude though and he'll always be remembered for his iconic characters in movies. Misunderstanding and I think you'll hear about the participants talk it out.
