Those water crossings are getting second nature to you both the little Van Vans are a surprise to me as well, they just keep going. When we moved to the city we got cable TV which included an American Public Broadcasting Station. They rebroadcast English TV series like 'Are You Being Served' and 'Upstairs Downstairs'. We had read James Harriott and would watch 'All Creatures Great and Small' every Sunday. One episode was about mechanization and the reduced need for horses after the war. I guess people still need warm clothing.

You two are getting so good at riding the trails. Sometimes we freak ourselves out, concentrating on a stone or steepness of the trail, which causes a fall. We all do it, and even after a while we sometimes still do it. Then say things to ourselves that I can't repeat 🤣. Look ahead and look at where you want to go. You will go where you are looking. Epic views! I liked the video a lot. Excellent Cool 😎

Oh, I love the Dales. That whole area I get access to as effectively my back garden. Oh, and the bit where you dropped the bike hard, Lavi, I know it well. I rode the other way earlier this year. I got the that point, took one look at that bloody rock slope........ and bottled it! Well done. You've now shown me some bits I haven't ridden yet amd will do so as soon as I can. 👍

Thats a knarly down hill down to the reservoir, so stop doubting your ability Lavi, you handled it like a champ, I've done it a few times on my CRF300L, not tried to go up it yet but might have a go next time I'm in the area, we saw a guy on what looked like a bog standard 310GS fly up it before !!! Loving this series so far, and bringing back memories of all the UK TET I've ridden before, so keep the video's coming 👍

You took on the Yorkshire Dales and won!! Might have to try some of those trails since they are so close. Used to go to the Kendal area lots. My dad was from a little village (Levens) near there and had an uncle and aunt that lived in Kendal. Nice part of the country (when it's dry!!)

It was a small tilt! The drone footage is spectacular. Such a beautiful place. Awesome river crossings, but they did look scary. That fall was in such a rough looking spot. I’m guessing you’ve been told this already, but try and keep as much weight to the rear as possible when going over rocks. It then reduces the weight over the front allowing the wheel to bounce over them better. It’s early days and it’s obvious you’re learning loads daily 👍👍. Weight transfer is the key.. good luck enjoy 👍👍

Hi Lavi and Ollie, I don’t know what you will do after this trail, but I could imagine you do the European one (tet). In that case please change your van vans for a Voge 300. It gives you much better torque with only little weight increase. Only problem could be the height of the seat.

going down the long steep hill with big loose rocks... none of the "I don't think I can do this" that there was a month ago... just concentration and progress the whole way down (and enjoying the view) someone has come a very long way! that's not a fall... that's a nice soft place to have a quick rest break & a power nap for the bike so it can keep going strong for a few more hours... very strategic if you ask me! A river of sheep and a lazy border Collie that would rather ride the quad than run around on foot... clever puppy. the long water crossing with a path to the side... is this the worst nightmare about to unfold? (Mine would actually be cruising along with a large heavy vehicle close behind and having something else suddenly come across the road in front of me with nowhere for me to go but hope like hell the vehicle behind can stop as fast as I need to)
