Fun fact: Nakashige the director himself wrote the screenplay this episode. That explains why there was so much added content. Hitomu Oshiro was the director and storyboarder of the ep. It was actually his first time directing an episode as he is usually doing stuff in post production. He is really talented tho. It was a very well directed ep imo.

Just to point out something noteworthy: The guy from the guild (bodyguard/overseer/babysitter of the criminals) was shown in a previous episode. When Jinwoo got reappraised in the hospital after the double-dungeon incident, this guy was there and used the machine that displayed Jinwoo still having a strength value of 10 (making him still the weakest hunter in the world).

The only involvement that any of the president and the red-haired S-rank hunter had was that the president was shown discovering Jinwoo on the ground in the dungeon. The president and the S-rank having an eye on Jinwoo has not been implied as well. I just realized though that the purple-haired guy in episode 8 was one of the guys from the Hunter's Association that visited him in the hospital.
