38 persona cards. 38 alt attires locked behind a gambling mode. MyFaction is absolutely boring. The reward to grind ratio is absolutely ridiculous. Most packs I've opened with points have been nothing but trash. (I did get masked Punk, which was cool, but generally, it's made up characters and other garbage). I already spent 100 on the Mania edition. I refuse to be pumping 100s into a mode I hate just to get a slim chance of getting some damn outfits. The mask staying on Triple H is absolutely stupid. It's all about money, not about a good experience for the players. The people spending 100s, imo are idiots. I'm not buying 25. I'm done.

Yeah i always have bought the most expensive version because its always unlocked everything so that I didn;'t have to play modes I didn't want to. I mostly play My Universe, thats just what I enjoy, I don't even play the story modes tbh, i play some MyRise here and there to progress but not normally... I can't stand MyFaction and the fact so much crap is locked behind that game mode is frustrating, I probably won't buy another 2k game.

What pisses me off is that while locking superstars as Persona Cards, they also removed a few pieces of clothing from Creation Suite, making many creations(such as CM Punk custom attires) content damaged and unavaliable to download from Community Creations. So they're basically take content away, be it small, but still. And since I mentioned CM Punk, locking away This Fire Burns behind a paywall is a crime. I'm happy to be on PC, so I can just export the file with his music and swap for a different theme, but what about the people on consoles?

You gotta keep in mind, THQ Did a lot of the gameplay, but Yukes coded it, they made the game work, they made universe mode what it is. They made create a finisher, create a storyline... All the things people love are Yukes work. Anytime a complaint came, it was from 2ks hands, whether it be controller changes, or more.

2K may be my least favorite gaming company. They have something i love, i pay EXTRA so I can get the deluxe edition and all the DLCs In ADVANCE, before finding out im getting stuck with Pat & Friends… And then I find out there was more stuff programmed for the game, held back, and dangled like a carrot. If 2K were gonna extort WWE fans for extra DLC, then dont advertise that buying the deluxe edition will get all the games’ DLC in advance, when theres this back order of 20+ skins and unique characters held ransom and I can only get them if i engage money in a wild card game pay to play??? Im sitting out 2k25 till this sh*t changes. I’ll go play 2k23 and 2k19 if i need to scratch the itch. Not gonna sit around and pay into the continuation of companies doing this to gamers.

Nobody should expect anything different coming from this company. This was the plan all along. This is why it was extremely important for fans to ignore this mode. Now, because people are playing it more due to everything else in the game being boring. 2K will continue to Nickle and dime fans. This will be just like the abuse NBA 2k players receive. Nothing in 2k will ever get better because they know they can't fix it. And because of that they don't care.

The paywall stuff I don’t really focus much on, the thing that makes me hate my faction is the live events making you use a certain card or more for that live event. And most of the live events don’t ever return at all except for the boss fight ones but that’s about it. I hope they just replace my faction with a completely new and original game mode that doesn’t have any paywall stuff. And they should add all of the persona cards from 2k24 to 2k25 as purchasable characters in the purchasable store where they put all of the legends, announcers, and managers

I have had the 40th anniversary of WM edition since release. I have over 700 MyFaction cards and I haven't spent a cent on the mode. Everything has been earned by logging in (almost) daily to claim the free rewards and grinding on occasion. I'll take whatever I can get for "free", but I am not giving 2K another dime for WWE 2K24 content. Bring on WWE 2K25!!

The odds are lies tho. I opened about thirty packs in the beginning and only got one diamond out of it and one amythist. After that I got nonsense cards that aren't even a part of that pack. Superstar 1 and 2 cards should not be in these packs. My honest opinion is that fans should stop buying packs. Play for free. Stop giving them what they want because these fans who buy packs are the root of the problem. You are singlehandedly ruining gaming. Gaming should not have the vibe of a casino. It should be fun.

What got me with 2K was they sold me on the season pass assuring all the DLCs. We get Post Malone & friends pack and the Pat McAfee pack which was complete garbage. The CM Punk ECW & Global Superstars pack were decent but then there's a Bray Wyatt pack and we have to pay extra? I know it's only like $10 but still...they didn't give us much.

In addition: The new event is broken and superstars we purchased are being deleted.Way to go 2k.🤣 WWE needs to hire a company besides 2k. They could easily give the characters that are being deleted back to us. My earlier post highlighted that I had unlocked Roman reigns 14. When I say deleted I mean it relocked it like I had never purchased it. 2k is refusing to unlock it again for me or reimburse my VC I used to purchase it. Support thinks I’m talking about saved data being gone not realizing what I’m talking about. I’m done with 2k after this. I refuse to give them a penny more until they correct this issue.
