There is a reason why learning how to improvise is so difficult. It has to do with your brain and what it is doing when you practice. I had an idea that would completely change that and I'm ready to share it live with you. Be there!

I respect your idea and think that many peoples will learn that way, but I think in my own opinion that one of the best way to learn to improvisation is training your ears and have great understanding of the scales, that way as soon you listen the chords you even not need to think just follow your feelings and you will get it. of course that require practice. Thanks

I found if I'm not going to find new chords and voicings,my playing will remain stuck in the mediocre, along with never learning up and down picking which is bad enough in it's self, played rhythm in a successful bar band for a few years, and seriously hardly know more than a handful of chords, kinda of crazy when we think we aren't good enough for ourselves, but others think we are great.

I think you have hit on something here although I have not tried the tool. My initial reaction was how can I watch and play at the same time? I know the fret board instinctively, but still like to keep one eye on it while soloing. Also, this tool can assist impro over these backing tracks only. When I jam over other tracks I am back to working out chords etc. and improvising. On a positive note, I can see that if you do practise using this visualisation tool then this will help to get notes under the fingers without looking at the fret board for a good many chord arrangements - and that is where this scores. Its well thought out and should be marketable for sure. Now, if I could load in any backing track and have the tool analyse the music and produce the chord arrangement with the same loop options etc. - you would have a winner in my humble opinion. As an aside, I know you have had physical problems in the past with your wrist...how is it going ? any improvement?
