Why wait for that? Can play The Finals right now for free. Different genre, but again. Free. Valorant. Tons of free games that aren't pay to win. Mecha Break looks good, but we'll have to see how that is monetized. Star Wars Battlefront II is on for for $5 on Steam right now or as a bundle with some other Star Wars games for $25. I just picked up ARMA III for $5. Just have to start looking for options.

The compensation is the big bugaboo. Those of us that have been playing for years have an awful lot of passive modules and have spent Billions in silver maxing them out.

Players needed to be refunded every bit of silver used to upgrade each module in their hangar and in storage. THEN the new currency needs to be compensated for each individual module. Only fair way to implement this. Players will be happy to have their silver back plus new currency in place of already owned items.

I just noticed that Tier 1 Robots (or Titans, but Kid is the only Tier 1 Titan there) don't have this feature. This is bad. Meanwhile, I agree with everyone that Pixo should get rid of this feature.

I'm a older player been playing since February 10, 2017 with a Schutze, Boa and Golem on my other account but started from scratch in April 3rd, 2024. so this won't affect me with this change? but at least u don't have to upgrade ur robots to have all the module slots anymore now.

That might not be the case... Test server at max all specialized tracks are available... might have to reach certain bot level to open each track... next week's test server should have more details....

I was in the closed alpha testing for Armor Attack... Did voice overs for several fun promo videos... was fun has lots of potential... I'll wait to see where they go... They have to make money eventually or close down... I have yet to see a mech genre mobile game not go full blown p2w once it goes public... maybe they'll prove me wrong.

I don't like the step down in customization. I should be able to run what I want in each slot. for instance I have a fenir I set up with double repair amps and an immune amp. that option will be gone. I don't quite have 2 hangers worth of maxed modules, I have 7 bots with maxed modules then a few level 2 or 3 modules. that is a lot of time and resources, 40 million silver plus 2 days for one level on each module adds up fast. PIxonic needs to over compensate for this or a lot of us will feel sour. I am giving them a chance, but if they do this poorly I will just find another game to put my time into

Whats next? When you remove a bot from your hanger, it resets to level 1? They monetized drones heavily, they monetized pilots heavily, they monetized mothership turrets heavily, they have even monetized active modules heavily with the unstable conduit make you apend thousands of powercells every battle. Now their monetizing passive modules heavily. It kinda sucks. Its promoting you to spend more and more money on this game. WHEN WILL IT JUST STOP!?!?! There is 6 different classes for module rework: 1) attack (universal for every t3 and t4 robot) 2) defense (same with attack) 3) damage dealer (only for robots like ares, ao guang, nodens etc.) 4) scout/saboteur (only for ronots like orochi, raven, scorpion etc.) 5) support (only for robots like mender, demeter etc.) 6) brawler (only for robots like ravana, bulgasari, invader, heimdall, rook etc.) The things that bothers me the most are: 1) there wont be any compensation even though your previous (upgraded or not) modules will be gone 2) we definitely didnt need another crappy currency that will take ages to save as a f2p This rework will screw over not just p2ws, also f2ps and pocket change players because: 1) you wont be able to put a last stand, nuclear amplifier or 2 repair amplifier on any robot now (which further decreases the potential of f2ps doing good at higher leagues) 2) the piercer units will kill previous tank robots (like invader and fenrir) (again will decrease the power of f2ps further since they use high defense point/high hp robots) When i heard about it, i deleted the game. That was the last straw for me. Thankfully im a f2p gamer so i dont really have to worry about it
