No question Crosby should be the center. He is the best at faceoffs of the three and is better defensively than both of them. MacKinnon and McDavid can cherry pick up the boards as wingers and use their speed for breakaways.

McDavid is still “the best player in the world” arguably, this season was stunted with injury and poor team play at the start, but the ability to dine your footing like that midway through the season and finish 3rd (probably could have done better of it weren’t for the injury at the end) and crush the playoffs solidifies his status, so does his consistent points averages through the seasons

3:07 The fact Russia isn't there hurts the excitement tournaments like this normally have, it's taking a big chunk of great players out of it, only because the leader of a country they are from but do not live in anymore where about 3/4 decide not to return (could change once Putin's gone) after their NHL career is over. They're part of the big 3 in best countries when it comes to hockey, Canada, Russia and sigh...unfortunately in a way but fortunately in another, the US.
