hopefully he’s making a new album rn 😭😭 but honestly i don’t really know. last summer he has been accused of sexual assault by anonymous accounts, and though all the allegations have been proven false since then, people are still spreading and believing these lies ☹️☹️ it caused a really big damage, lots of fans are constantly getting harassed and getting sent death threats simply because we like him. i think this whole situation took a tool on his mental health, i mean it must have been a horrendous period of time, not just him, even sarah, his family members and friends were constantly getting bullied. people were out there calling him a ped*phile and other horrible stuff without any proof or whatsoever. so yeah it must have been really awful for him, especially with the fact that it was all undeserved since he’s completely innocent. but it needed time to be disproven because it’s really hard to gather evidence of something that you didn’t do and that supposedly happened 10 years ago.... so yeah originally before all of this happening he already said that he’s going on a break bc he’s been going nonstop since doab came out (tour, kinky boots, pftw, another tour, taylor collab etc.) and he’s been front of a camera basically 90% of his life since he was 18. and also all of those other things that i just talked about happened so understandably he needed time away from EVERYTHING. but i do think brendon is a strong individual who could get through all of this, so after he takes his time to heal he’ll hopefully be back :) and he’s probably really just more comfortable being alone making music chilling at his home rn that’s why he “disappeared”
