Brings tears to my eye, but one thing this foolish aunt didn't knew, she was doing the girl a big favor, lock her in the room and giving her books to read,while her daughter watch tv. The girl was reading, declaring good things upon her life to come, and so it turned out to be. The father couldn't help her,but i think no matter what he should have take the girl with him,they would have survived some how, but it happened the way it should, the evil aunt only maltreated her,but didn't kill her. We must love and treat others just the way we treat our own, specially if they are children, God will deal with us for them, because they belong to his kingdom.

Chie this thing exactly happened to my younger brother many years ago when he was just 2yrs old and my mum was in TTC, he stays with one of our aunt who seriously maltreated him one day, as little as he was he refused to enter my dad's car to go to that place. We forced him into the car but he couldn't enter, he couldn't even express himself, until a neighbour told my dad never to force that little child against his will since it has never happened before. That was how my brother was saved. We got to know this years later when he has grown up. Please as parents always listen to your children's action

That which stood out for me was the confession of the young girl and the faith I believe she had in God that made her to stay strong. This type of situation can really engender anger and hatred and much bitterness and I think we would need to pray that God really helps kids like this around. Well the power of confession is great may God console all our hearts and take away bitterness and anger from us in Jesus name, Amen. Let's leave vengeance in the hands of the Almighty.
